Were the Hotel owners Indian (Gujarati)? They are known criminals that come here on H1-B visas. The money is running out and they are desperate so now they resort to criminality. I hoper Pakistan destroys India one day.

I just opened my American Express card bill and have two charges from 402 935 7733.    Both are Paypay charges but nothing I recognize. What gives?

These low down scumbags just hit my account twice, just happen to check statement online. Paypal has got to be connected in some way or these thousands of thefts of Identy couldnt happen. Just Google that phone# and see how many has been hit. E-bay has personal info and Paypal also, Could it be an inside problem

I received  my CC bill today to find a charge of $1300.00! To this number 4029357733 listed as FITRIDER called the number and the recording claimed to be paypal customer service and asked for the last four digits of my cc card um no I dont think so. I hung up and called my cc they verified the transaction as paypal. So they called paypal and a dispute was filed  funds should be returned within 30 days.  Had to cancel my cc what a pain I wish these scumbags would just get a job!!

I will be on the look for that charge in to my card but I definitelly received a cal from that number
even said paypal on the caller id but checked with pay pal they said they did not called.

I called paypal today and they do not own that phone number so it is a scam. I have had 5 charges on my visa without me having a paypal account.
There are 2 different user names with these 5 charges and the one user name is from someone who I use to think was a good friend but cond me into almost 1/2 million dollars to invent in property and I have recently found him over the internet trying to get others to send him money. I hope people are more careful with who they trust then I was.

I got a call from this number to my Skype number, but did not answer.  I know I did not give paypal my Skype number, but I've recently given it out on scholarship websites.  Block the number, it's a  scam.

they called today, saying they were "Katie from paypal" (in a voicemail, i didnt pick up)
So after reading all this and stuff on other sites, i called paypal, they didnt know what the number was. Then cancelled both credit cards. I hope they cant somehow get into my bank account. Can they?
So much stress. i hate scammers. GET A JOB!

275.00 charge on my card from Paypal, no way, I would never use Paypal for something that much.

what they are doing is spoofing paypals number, then when you say hello, they 3 way call paypal and just listen in on the conversation, getting your information that way. Its very easy to do, which is a scary thing.

They called me again today, but i didnt answer once again.

Be careful guys, think about when you get phonecalls like this. Dont give them any information. Paypal WILL NOT CALL YOU! They email you, and even then, if it looks suspicious, forward it to spoof@paypal.com to be 100% sure.

Found a charge for $77.00 on my Quicken download of my American Express card with this phone number attached.  No knowledge of how/where it came from!  Never received a phone call....

Immediately called Amex to challenge the charge, and the CSR told me she had seen "many" challenges recently for "PayPal".

Note:  I do have a PayPal account, and saw no charges on my account matching this amount.

A fraudulent charge of $150 on my Master Credit card showed as

I never had a paypal account, and i will never use it, because now i see how the banks and paypal let this kind of things happen without taking any necessary action!

I have received bills on my discover card statement from this number *ENET  4029357733 in the amount of 235.97 and 195.67.  What can I do to have these amounts credited or whatever as I didn't charge anything to ENET to be paid by PayPal

Best way when you do a deal cancel card and get a new one.

It is one of those damn scamers that doesnt want to work for there money that hack into your paypal and steal your money. That is what happened to me. If they got off there [***] and did a little hard work instead of taking it out of the pocket of a family that has kids. I don't say that I hate people but those people I HATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YIKES!!  I was wrong!  I can't believe it..

Just after I mouthed off about them - doesn't my wife show me the receipt for

Hint - do a search of your email first with the reference they use (in my case it was ezz)
instead of Googling it first.

I just got a missed call and voicemail from this number. Upon Googling the number I found this, and checking VM the message said my account had been fully approved.

This coincided with an email from PayPal about 20 minutes before also saying the same thing.

This was a new account and was flagged for some kind of funny activity, so to me everything points to being bona fide.

WHY ARE THESE PEOPLE STILL ALLOWED TO DO THIS CRIMINAL ACTIVITY?

I GOT CHARGED $305 BY THESE PAY PAL POSERS AND HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE HASSLE OF GETTING THE CHARGES REVERSED.
