Ok, just got off the phone with our bank and luckily the debit card that was used was new so there was only one charge made online...to a ticket company up in Washington... ticketswest.com and come to find out, their phone number has the SAME area code as the fraudulent number used to set up the business account!

We called the company and they don't seem to care much, but hopefully this will all get resolved.

I hung up and called PayPal right back on their 1-800 line and they told me no one had called me and the number was marked as a SPAMMER number in their database. The number is a FAKE in an attempt to collect personal information!!!

I called PayPal from their secure 800 number and was told that the number was a spoof number and they asked if I had given them any info. When I told them I had missed the call they told me "Good thing because we've had a number of issues with them today." Also, The number they called me on is NOT the number I have registered with PayPal. PayPal has my home phone number. These people called me on my cell phone.

I had someone call from this number this evening claiming he was from paypal. He asked to confirm my name and if I was aware of the recent activities on my account (I bought some recreation sport items from ebay) and he was nosey, asking what type of items, how they were shipped,ect. Finally I got mad and asked just why the hell am I being contacted and he said paypal likes to contact newer accounts on activity. He never said anything about it being suspisious or anything but I got the feeling something is fishy. I closed my bank account bridge on there so hopefully I will not get one of these "out of nowhere" charges like I've read above. Do not answer this number, clearly paypal would have thousands of new accounts and activity daily, why the hell would they call every single one?

I had a suspicious charge on my credit card referencing 402-935-7733 and nguyen Pan.  Paypal credited me back the amount and I closed the credit card account.  Beware!  Always check your on-line statments weekly for suspicious activity!

i did not receive a call from this number, but it was posted as the phone number reference for an unauthorized withdrawal from my banking account. it is indeed a paypal customer service phone number, and the person i reached said they were trying to "reverse" the situation as soon as possible, but probably not until 7 to 10 days. i will try to keep you abreast of what happens. has this happened to anybody else? what was the outcome??? pls help. any info would be greatly appreciated.

Did not give anyone permission to withdraw anything from my bank account. When and if I ever find out who hacked into my bank account I intend to press charges against them to the fullest extend possible. I want this money put back in my account and this matter resolved!!!!

I don't use Pay Pal and never have.

PayPal - calling to confirm I made a payment last night before authorizing the cash to move.  By the time I was off the phone and logged into my account, the activity had been processed and money moved.

No problems no bs, call lasted maybe 5 seconds tops, asked for no info of any kind other than to confirm the company I was giving money to.

I have been given this number by my credit card company as the identification for 10 charges made to my credit card on 8/19/2008. The charges were for $99.00 each time and that makes it $990.00 charged without my authorization.  I used PayPal 3 years ago.  The business name was listed as Professional Services.  Anyone know about this??

DMILLER INC  $100.00  402-935-7733 charge appeared on my cc for "services and merchandise." NEVER heard of this company before, and what's more, did not make a transaction on the date indicated, 8/14/08!  I think the 402-935-7733 might have appeared a few times on my caller id, but I didn't recognize the number.  I have already spent more than an hour trying to track down information and dispute this bank charge.  The only answer is to watch ALL your transactions and statements ALL the time, like a hawk.

I just got taken for 216.00 from pay-pal with a recorded number of 402-935-7733 on my bank statement.

I had a charge to my account from "rapid share".  I contacted my bank and asked about the charge.  I was given the transaction date and time,the phone number 402-935-7733, the ref code and the batch id #.  They suggested I call Paypal and inquire about the charge, but advised about giving out any personal information.  After being hung up twice, I had a representative tell me that unless I provided them with my full name and the card number with the charge, they would not look anything up nor transfer me to a supervisor.  Do they really think I am that stupid?

I JUST CALLED PAYPAL and this is not their number and this is a [***] SCAM. ANYONE here that says otherwise is either the scammer or someone who got bad information from Paypal

appeared on my credit card bill as a charge for 449.99

the samE THING HAPPENED TO ME I HAVE A 99 DOLLAR CHARGE ON MY ACCOUNT AND I DONT EVEN USE PAYPAL! WTF!

2 fraud charges from Paypal *Pasha37 totalling $761.00 on a credit card I've never used for Paypal.
402-935-7733 shown as the reference on the fraud affidavit sent by my credit card company.
