I had to purchases. One was for a Kitbag Middleton Company for $389.00 in the UK and the other was for easy Jet Luton for $245.00. My credit card was compromised. Dont know how but my Chase Bank was notified and I hope they put these criminals behind bars!!!

I saw this on my credit card and freaked out.  It is paypal but when I looked at my paypal account, this charge was not showing.  The reason for this is because I purchased an item from Amazon.com and used paypal to pay for it.  Everything was valid... so just try to remember that if you use another company to charge paypal.

Just checked my Rebate Card, and found a "POS Pre-Authorization" PAYPAL PAYPAL 4029357733 NE US (30 day hold) for $1, and it was returned 5 mins later, was done 5 days ago. But I dont have a lot of money left on the card, so wasn't hit up for more money. Yet.

This is a scam. Someone is using Paypal's good name to scam people. They set up an account with a cc processing compnay, put Paypal's real # and use their name to confuse people.

Never give info NEVER!

Got a call. No message left.

I had $182 in the process of being taken out of my visa/eftpos account, said was from PayPal, I had no knowledge of this amount as I don't buy items of this amount, the bank has cancelled my card just in case this happens again. but will look at my PayPal account to see what the story is. The bank is investigating this problem.

BEWARE - This number is now being used as "D N CONCEPTS" out of North Carolina and scamming people for DISH Network programming deals with 3 months of prepaid service. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFO TO THEM.

I had an unfamiliar charge on my credit card from a vendor using this phone number. It IS paypal and they were able to verify the charge to my satisfaction. Sometimes, especially online, you may buy something using your credit card, however, the seller puts the charge thru using paypal.

Also, no call from Paypal, just a charge on my Amex thru Paypal by a suspicious "seller". I did not authorize charge.

my wife call a call on her cell phone and didn't answer. Later I called this number and it went to Paypal and go an automated calling system. It was asking about last 4 of ss number and to verify last numbers of credit card.  MY WIFE DOESN'T EVEN GO ONLINE AND DIFINITLY DOESN'T HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT. SHE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT PAYPAL WAS.  WATCH OUT THE SCAMMERS ARE OUT.

Was charged $670.00 on my visa from "PayPal" with the call # 402-935-7733.  Know nothing of this transaction!  Transaction number too long to report on PayPal site.

I called paypal and the  litigation-fraud depart will be looking into list number and they were given the whocallsme website to check ouit.

I do not have a PayPal account, yet I have a charge on my debit card from *EASYBIBCOMI, 4029357733, NY for $14.99. I will be calling the bank in the morning to have this charge removed.

I did not receive a call from this number, only the charge on my account.

If this number is no good then why is it on the receipt, a part that I bought on e-bay that was paid through pay pal. It says on my receipt ADAUTOPARTS 402-935-7733 CA.

Got a call about an hour after completing my first purchase on ebay, the caller was an american man who just asked for the email adress i used for the transaction and asked me to confirmed the amount i spent, they didnt ask for any bank details. I just feel a bit suspicious about it all. Is it normal for the american branch of the company to call someone in england? how long has it taken people in the past to get scammed?

2 charges appeared on my credit card this month with this phone number.  charge was listed as "PAYPAL *PRISTINEBEA 402-935-7733 CA".  It is fraud and theft.  Call your credit card company and report it.

Paypal will make calls to you to inform you of problems with your account. This is a valid Paypal phone #.
