I went to www.newt.org and contacted their office at (678) 973-2306.  I informed them about this number and told them that this was conter productive.  I was put on hold while they listened to the call.  They told me that they are not the ones involved with this call and are going to investigate.  More than likely this is a scam or worse, an attempt to tick people off to not support Gingrich by making people believe that this annoying call is originating from the Gingrich camp.

Not interested in your calls and I will make up my mind whenever election time is near.

You may want to check in your local AT&T phone directory to see if you have Call Blocker which is listed under the EasyOptions page. To turn on call blocker press *60 and follow the instructions. You will need to enter the number that you want to block so be sure to write it down before using call blocker. This works great!

just sits there silent and eventually hangs up.  idiots

Good Luck with getting off their phone list.   Despite calling that number back twice and
pressing 3 (asking to be removed) I have received two more calls so far today and it's only 1:54 pm

Any candidate who employs these robo calls will NEVER get my vote.   They and beyond annoying and frustrating.

I'm a Democrat and have been getting these calls.  The robocall said some things that I thought were negative about President Obama.  How can I redirect this robocall to my Google Voice number and record it?  I could then post it on the web for anyone to review and see if they agree with what Former Speaker Gingrich says on his Robo calls.

I'm sure he has to pay a certain amount per call.  You'd think he'd want to target his calls to likely supporters.

I asked via the option not to be called and of course now get twice as many, without the message. This is totally the wrong way to run a campaign. I feel sure Newt has nothing to do with this kind of BS and he would be upset to know about it. He is a good man, this is not his type of activity.

I tried to call this number back as people suggested, but got a message that the number belonged to someone named Rick. Very fishy if you ask me! This number has been calling us every other day. No idea how people managed to call it back.

I have received numerous calls from this number.  I don't answer, and they don't leave a voice mail. Since caller ID shows Newt 2012, I am sure we know who's calling.

I've called the number a few times and gotten what appeared to be a legitimate Gingrich message....  I can't say how you got "Rick".... Just out of curiosity, I may try it again a few times.

Your suggestion of calling back and requesting to be added to their do not call list doesn't work.  When you call back, you get no answer.  Try another suggestion that is actually helpful next time.
