Keep receiving at least 2 calls a day from this number.  Very odd hours.  When I answer the phone, there is noone at the other end.  When you hit call back -- there is loud static, operator in the background and beeps.  STOP CALLING ME!!

I called Thursday after getting tired of repeated calls.  I pressed 3 and entered my phone number.  I got another call Friday and another Sunday evening.  So much for removing my number from their call list.  It works no better than trying to get off Rachael's ("lower your credit card rate") telephone list.

Funny story about Newt

I lived in DC. Out for coffee at Dean & Deluca in Georgetown. Went to use the bathroom and when I opened the door... there was Newt on the toilet. Who needs a president that doesn't remember to lock the bathroom door behind him???

They called at 8:45 this morning and 9Am yesterday, Sunday morning. If they think I'd vote for him, their nuts!!!

This is a Newt Gingrich political call, and a HUGE CROCK OF CRAP!  I stayed on the line to tell the person at the end of the message (Newt's assistant), but when a female voice said HELLO, she subsequently hung up BEFORE I even got the chance to tell them to STOP CALLING!!!

Called asking for a $125 "gift" to Newt Gingrich's campaign.  I had to listen to the whole endless recorded message from Gingrich before an assistant came on and rattled off the script ending in the pitch for money.  They claimed they would remove me from their list. After numerous daily calls - early morning and at night let's see if they will!

I received 4 phone calls from this number within a 16 hour window....no messages just calling back over and over.

This becomes a problem when you are a working person.

Please make it stop!

Why the hell is "Political Call" no longer an option under Call Type?  This is still happening...

The message is pure unsolicited propaganda regardless of who you are voting for.

Just got a call from this number, and it was the final straw, as the admin of a phone system of a small telecom, I'll be petitioning staff and notifying customers of a plan to block this number from our voip switch first thing tomorrow morning due to numerous complaints by customers, thus preventing them from further harassing any of the 5400+ accounts we have.  Part of the service I offer includes a registry of solicitation callers using systems similar to this site that automatically blocks them and allows our customers to opt in if they wish to be lied to/stolen from etc. They are notified by email and a slip with their bill when new numbers are added so no one feels like they were being discriminated against.  (there are apparently some weirdos out there who'd like to receive risky offers for auto-warrant scams that never pay out, or crooked politicians using the phone to brainwash the masses).

Because our phone company operates this way, I think you should ask yours to do the same, most likely they won't listen, but when they don't want to listen there is always the small guy waiting to take the business they felt was below them, so in other words, switch and support your local economy.

why bother to be on the DNC when the politicians can abuse my phone to their hearts content? this call (er) doesn't ever leave a voice mail, leaving me to wonder if it's really political or not. i don't care, either way, coz i'm not answering or talking to any of them. make political calls part of the DNC too!!!

They call almost everyday. Sometimes 8:30 AM, even Sunday. Newt lost my vote, that's for sure

Received a call for the newt for president campaign....i had planned on voting for Gingrich all along and donating .
But the High pressure sale used by the called angered me no ends.

Hey, isn't CNN (who blatanly supports Democrats) headquartered in Georgia? If it is Newt, I don't mind a little annoyance to try to get this country back on track to a better future. I'm more annoyed by the bad economy, watching the Obama's living it up, eating lobster and cavier while the rest of us scrimp and save and then being told by Michelle what we can and can't eat.

I've been getting repeat calls, too. I have caller ID, but it's still annoying when the phone rings, and there's no info on WHO in Georgia is calling. I can turn off the ringer, but then I miss REAL calls that I do want to receive. The idiots in Georgia could at least leave a voice message and then leave you the choice to call them back or not.
Newt's a progressive (read: Fabian socialist, communist) anyway. Sold his soul somewhere between the time he was Speaker and now.

Just call back number they have a spiel but hit 3 then they ask for youtpr number to remove you from their call list. Easy and it works
