I have never seen such annoying, harassing campaign tactics as this from Newt Gingrich. I would never even consider voting for ANY CANDIDATE who thinks calling households MULTIPLE TIMES DAILY and then going through a 5 minute CAMPAIGN SPEECH is going to convince ANYONE TO VOTE FOR HIM.  I now campaign AGAINST him for this.  If he does such aggravating things now COULD YOU IMAGINE WHAT HE WOULD DO AS PRESIDENT?  I put it as Telemarketer-----IT"S WORSE THAN A TELEMARKETER!!!!!!!!

Just received a political call at my work number..... I have no plans on voting for Newt Gingrich.  I hung up on the recording.  Receiving political calls at home is bad enough but at work is more than a little annoying.

I can't believe a Republican dares to call my number, especially Boot the Newt.

This is extremely ridiculous, I continue to receive calls multiple times a day from this number so I googled it and wow I see all these posts from all these people. Do they not have anything better to do that to harass people for a vote. Wasn't gonna vote for you anyway NEWT, and it's a definite NO now for sure!!

This jerkwad number is calling my business line!  I have NEVER voted Republican and think Newt is a damn Nazi.  BLOCKED AND REPORTED.

Please take me off the robo call list!  I do not want to hear that gas bag's voice on my phone.

They call early, they call late.  I've chosen the 3rd option to be added to their "do not call list" and still they call.  Obnoxious republicans.  If they think this will endear their candidate to me, they are mistaken.

Calls 4 0r 5 times a day, answer it and no one there.  STOP THESE CALLS!!!!

Not to mention that it costs ME money to be taken off a list that I didn't put my name on in the first place!!!!! Newt can go screw himself. If he ever had a chance of this independant voting for him, he sure doesn't now.  PS I had to call FIVE times to get the #3 thing to work. The first four times it said, "I'm sorry you call will now be disconnected". So it cost me more than 10 dollars to be taken off this jacked up list.

This is not the way to get me to look favorably upon your candidacy.

Rather, it says that you are among the politicians who regard themselves above the laws that apply to all the rest of us.

I realize that political calls are exempt from the do-not-call rules.  However, the politicians who wrote those rules chose to set themselves above the laws for everyone else.

I am on the Do Not Call lists. You don't need to join those politicians in calling me despite my clearly expressed preferences.

The call was particularly offensive because it was a recorded message, and even more offensively caller id showed only "Georgia".

These actions do not show the kind of character I look for in a candidate for President.

I asked the guy called me to take off the number for the person who he wanted to talk to doesn't live here. Still they keep calling me everyday. My number is on the "Do not call list" also.

Received a call from 404-220-7273 (Newt 2012) on Dec.14th. On Dec.15th I received another call so I called back and followed the prompt to be removed from their calling list. Since then I have received 2 more calls from 404-220-7273 Newt 2012 once on Dec.16th and again on Dec.17th however now they just hang up. I would never consider voting for someone who can't even manage a telephone service or who is so rude and insiderate that they would resort to harrassment.

I have, in the past, filed many complaints with the FCC for the seemingly endless number of violators to the 'Do Not Call Registry”.  Although this has proven to be effective and has prevented specifically identified violators from calling again there will always be more idiots who choose to do so.   I have since applied all of my valid incoming telephone call numbers with ‘special unique’ assigned ring tones and I do not answer any incoming call that activates the ‘standard’ ring tone.  With the ‘special’ ring tones the desired calls can be easily identified from a distance and even before looking at the callerid!  One needs not be interrupted from daily activities by having to rush to answer an undesired and intrusive phone call.   I advise facilitating this logical ‘solution’.  It is very easy, takes only a few minutes and it will solve nearly all of the problems by immediately identifying the intrusives.  Unfortunately, as with all technologies, the uniquely and specially assigned identifying ring tones don’t activate 100% of the time because nothing is completely accurate (in rare instances ‘desired’ calls may activate the ‘standard’ ring tone) but since I took this course of action many months ago I have discovered that it performs as designed about 95-98% of the time.  I understand that we are all aggravated by the inconsiderate idiots who push their products and services or attempt to obtain money or our personal information when it is our desire and our right to be left alone.  We pay for the use of our phones and these other ignorant a$$holes have no right to take advantage of them.  I have chosen to live by the philosophy “ignore the ignorant”.  It is up to all of us to personally take actions to ensure that our own rights are protected because others are focused entirely on themselves and their desires for personal gain.  If no one chose to answer (yes, we have a choice) these intrusively ignorant phone calls all of the efforts of those undesirables would be in vain.  Please take a few minutes to give this identification method a try … if you do not feel that it helps then you can always reconfigure the phone numbers back to their original specifications.  I sincerely hope that this “solution” helps.  It has proven to work for me!
