Dealix is using an automated system to strip your phone number off the online form you all filled out in order to get some kind of auto information or to purchase an auto. Then their computer calls that number to make sure it goes through and is not a fake number....if it goes through or gets a busy dial tone then it's sold to car dealers..as a good number for sales.

Somehow Dealix has to be stopped from continuing this service.....

Same situation here, submitted a price quote request on a carsdirect.com website at mid-night and got an anonymous call, followed by a call from 408-228-0163.

I got a call at 2 am from a resticted number then a mintue latter i got a call from a 4082280163 no one anwsers when you say hello. it happened after i sent out a message about a car.

... just asked about an used car on Kelly Blue book on their website site, and I got a call from 408-228-0163.  No one was on the line either of the two times that it called.
Seems to be related to people searching for used cars.

I received the call from this number after I submitted the quote for price.
