I got a call from a man with a heavy Indian accent who was trying to explain to me I had won one of five prizes. I thought I would amuse my self and hear him out.  It took a while before William Lee came one and he too had an Indian accent for someone with an Oriental last name.  He said his company was called Ontario Inc.  To me that is generic name for any new company starting in Ontario.  William said his compay is from the US but didn't give any names.  I was also told no timeshares, no presentations to sit through, and definately no money will come out of my pocket.  Has anyone notice the answers to your questions are all very broad and general?  Also, William said they are a renovation company dealing with furniture and electronics repair?  The strategy with the heavy accent is to draw the listener to listen harder and keep them on the phone longer.  The address was 6175 Hwy 7, Unit 6, Woodbridge.  William's call back was 289-475-5451 ext 828.

Shawn, please tell me what Ontario International does?  Seeing that you've received a lovely Toshiba, "42 inch high defination flat screen LCD colour television".  Surly they would have given you some information of what type of businss they are in.  Is it like Home Depot combined with Best Buy and Bad Boy?  Please.... no broad or general answers.  Thx.

Thanks for the info...just got the call and wondered where they got my info from - they could not provide me with a clear answer...offered me 1 of 5 prizes.  Pick up at 6175 Hwy 7, Unit 6 in Woodbridge.  They advised that I must bring my spouse, no kids allowed and we must both bring photo id.  Tel#289-475-5455, x 125 - MAX.  I reported them to Phonebusters who advised me that this is a timeshare company that uses extreme selling tactics.  They can keep their prizes!

Does Canada have any lottery/gaming laws? In my country to win a prize in a "ballot" the prizes have to be readily available to be viewed by the public or if money/holiday then verified by a lottery official and they must also have a permit number issue by the gaming and lottery commission. If Canada does have similar laws then get the law on your side and force this company to show the prizes actually exist. And if Canada requires a permit and they dont have one get the law to shut them down! If there is a fine for such a thing and if its anything like here then the fine will bankrupt them

Daniel (who works for Ontario International) WTF are you trying to say?  Please learn some proper English and spelling.  I am shocked that an employee from Ontario International would be on a posting trying to defend a company without any morals or respect for themselves.  

Also, you should stop replying to postings with people's names, especially if they haven't mentioned it.  You've done it in on 2 occasions.  I see a privacy violation being committed.  That could probably be taken up with the law and hold you and Ontario International liable.

Received 2 phone calls from 905-158-1530 yesterday and today.
The woman who called last evening had such a thick Indian/Pakistani accent, I could not understand a friggin word she said after " Is this Mr....?"
Tonight was a good night since I was not doing anything special when Ali Baba called, I volunteered to  give out my credit and banking information so to save him some time. He would have none of that !!!! and assured me "As a winner, you will not have to spend a cent"...
I was very enthusiatic about it too.. so Ali Baba better not feel like he was being a nuisance.
Well... the end game was like everyone on here ... Click... Well gotta give Ali some credit .. he did call back and asked why did I hang up. I said I had some problems with my phone ... CLICK

I got a call from ontario international. The guy had trouble speaking english. And his name is john michaels. I figured it was a scam. I set up appointment and didn't go.

got a call at 4pm July 22nd - 1/5 guaranteed winners after filling out a ballot in Dec 09.(NOT!) Spoke to Sr. Mgr Alex to go to 6175 Woodbridge Unit 6 L4H 0P6. They never did give me that 'Special Code' to claim my prize, even after listening for almost 20mins to a heavy Indian accent. Waste of time!

I was told the company name is Ontario Source Inc.

I was to report to 6175 Hwy 7 Unit 6 to get my prize
