- Susanne B. replies to SkepticalThanx so much for all the info. on these scammers! I too received the phone call stating I'd filled out a Ballot at the Vaughan Mills and won an over night stay at the Georgian Manor up in Colling Wood. Checked the website bad reviews about the place, time-share I'm guessing. Forget that! Then the next day I got another call that I'd have to go to 6175 Hwy 7 also to claim a prize of a T.V., trip to Florida, money etc. Red flags went off right away, you know the old saying, "If it sounds too good to be true... So I won't be showing up today, for their so called meeting. When they phoned the caller I.D. showed the phone number and the word device, and there was a lot of noise (call center). So people be aware of these crooks! Thanx again.
- AmandaSame as the last 2 callers above. The sad part is that I filled out a form at Vaughan Mills. So does Vaughan Mills know they permit these scammers to come to the mall to do this? Very upsetting but I learned my lesson.

- Pink cat replies to tonyThanks for all the post u all helped a lot. My sister got the call first and she was so excited. Called me like she won the lottery. But she couldn't make it and was upset for a very long time. Until I got the call too! I told them I was going and my husband insisted I search the Internet before we went. I found all of you. Thanks for sharing. Same reason why I'm sharing now.
- emmely replies to Frankthese idots also called me ,said i filled out a ballot at vaughn mills mall, and they were right only problem is the ballot i fill out was to win a new car!
these guys are scam artists, i m supposed to go tomorrow at 6 ..yaaaaaaa ok thats not happening, how do they get away with stuff like this and why would it matter how much me and my spouse make annually, if you won something you won something !!!! people that win on lottery tickets scratch tickets...dont have to make a certian amount annually to receive there prize.......
i have a good friend of mine that is a PI,....she is going to do some diggin on her own free time to see whats really going on, i was thinking about calling the BBB to see if they can help......
congrats to those who did not fall for this , and sorry to the ones that do!!! - ColleenThe number was 416-584-2444 and he said we'd filled in a ballot at a Ukranian festival for a car in Sept but won second prize with 53 other people. H e said we'd won 1 of 4 prizes worh $1500.00 cash but that I had to come with my husband who is away. You have only two days to go to Woodbridge together to pick a ballot which will be one of the 4 items..he said he's call next week if they added a day that people could come in to claim the prize . His name was Daniel Matrin and his employee # was 00140. and he also gave me a claim #
He had our home number, our family income, my cell number and called me numerous times today.
I sopke with my husband and when we googled the company, we realized it is a scam.- Caller: Premium Buyers Direct

- ms elle replies to Skepticali received a call yesterday saying that i won! that i filled up a ballot at Winter Festival at Downsview Park on Feb 4, 2012, which i did filled up a ballot to get a free hot chocolate! this guy said that the prizes to be won is either 42" flat screen tv, 17" toshiba laptap, 7 days in florida, $1000 worth of furnitures, or $1500 cash. so i was told to come to this addrees: 6175 Hwy 7 Unit 6, Woodbridge ON. L4H 0P6 @ 8:00pm for a 90 mins show, and to draw the one out of five prize that i would bring home. i even received an email too to have my claim number and the picture of the 5 prizes. tonight i got changed to be ready.. then my husband told me "we are not going!" at was mad coz i wanted to go! i was excited as i have never won anything before! he showed me different sites about PRIMIUM BUYERS, about the complaint people have had! now i am thankful i did not waste my time going there!
even i wonder why would they asked how much we earn in a year? or that they would say "you must earn $50 000 or more in order to claim your prize!"
i have read some possitive comments of other sites of Primium Buyerm but there are mostly complaints! well, good for those who actually won and got as what these callers said.... and sorry for others that hoped for nothing...... including ME! - ms elle replies to BCarefulthese people called my cell phone too as "DEVICE" showing on my display. it doesnt really show their actual business or company number which is weird! i wanted to go.. i really did! but my husband checked out the Premium Buyers sites and showed me this site! thank you for posting and for not making me waste my time! the address i was gonna go to for a 90 mins show was 6175 unit 6, hwy 7 in woodbridge. the manager's name that i talked to was DEREK... with a strong chinese accent!
- Wes replies to Angry Customer| 1 replyIm going I'll post the Prize both me and the girlfriend won from a ballot at the fishing show...
- Wes replies to WesHas anybody actually gone to these ??!
- Wes| 2 repliesI've read most of these posts I have a simple question ... Has anybody actually gone or do u people assume its a scam ?? I will find out personally and post talk talk talk .... I'm going tomorrow and will make a scene if we dont win a prize , and no I'm not giving them any info or credit card # s ... I will expose them first hand don't post it's a scam until u actually go !!! Annoyed with all of u and the people calling us ...
- DDBeware - scam starting again...
I've read all the comments and to my surprise, just received the same message... I've won prizes and to pick them up at 6175 Hwy 7, unit 6, woodbridge....phone number calling from 289-809-3472.... I keep calling this number and it's busy..... - don't trust these guysI just got a call 2 days after going to the Canadian Autoshow and I spoke to Kevin Ortiz and the (supposed) manager Jonathan.
I agreed to go with my wife to the 8:00pm 90 min presentation only after they assured me that there was no financial obligation involved and that immediately after the presentation I would draw for one of the 5 prizes.
I asked if I was going to leave with the gift or would I just get some kind of voucher, and at first the manager told me that of course I would get some kind of certificate and then later changed his story and said I would definitely leave with a prize. After I agreed to sit in on a presentation, another guy called me back 20 min later from the "award center" but I just asked him to put me on his "do not call list" and I hung up on him.
These guys are without a doubt pure and simple scammers and would say just about anything to get you to their presentation. There's a lot of background noise where they call you from so if you ask you a question they just pretend as if they didn't hear you.
I've already filed a complaint with the BBB and if these guys contact you too you should do the same.
don't believe a word these guys say...

- TadThey've just called me, same deal. I new it was a scam but wanted to get details so I could check on the Internet. It took no time at all and I was looking at your website. The manager called me back on my cell and I told him that I would report him right away and stop calling me.
