- veteranlisten i've been offered the same thing. does anybody really know, what goes on over there. do u get the prize or not. i would like to check out?
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Justin CaseThese "people" call my cell phone at least twice daily regarding a "prize"! thanks for the info, next time I attending the hunting show, i will NOT fill out any ballots! Absolutely ridiculous!
- copsI just received the same call. They saidd I filled out a ballot at the autoshow. I found this company really odd.I apparently won a prize but they wouldn't state what it was. They said I had to go to 6175 hwy 7 with my "common law" partner to pick it up.This company is a total scam but what they have coming to them is a cop. Can't wait to see their face when cops show up to this scam. We'll see how many more people they'll try to scam after the cops show up.

- lorna replies to almost fooledI just got the same call just now his name was sean david . ex. 100 6175 highway 7 woodbridge i asked why do i have to bring my husband he replied for pictures ...and what got me was how much do we make yearly .wow that must be timeshare
- TOLadyGot "the call" yesterday. I had missed previous ones, but googled the number and reading through all these posts, knew what to expect.
I acted all excited when he read off the list of prizes, but expressed dismay and told him my husband had been convicted of a crime and wasn't able to leave Canada (lie).
"Todd" said that it might be transferable to somewhere else, but I still had a choice of the other prizes. He kept on going with the speil and I kept going along with it until it came time to confirm the date of our "presentation" when I politely informed him that I work for a government agency (I actually do) and if I received one more call, action would be taken. He tried calling back, but he is now blocked.- Caller: Unknown
- Lynn replies to TuanI just got the same call..I was at a womens show in December and filled out a ballot and they said that I was 1 of 5 women picked which got me half believing.. because I actually was at a womens show in December and filled out a few ballots. If it's a scam, I'd really like to know how they knew this.. They could barely speak any English.
- Cautious| 2 repliesReceived a call saying we had won a secondary prize from the Toronto Car Show & had to come & pick it up in Woodbridge. We were guaranteed a one of 5 prizes which was either a trip for 2 to Florida for 1 week valued at $1500.00 OR $1500.00 in cash OR a $1000.00 gift card from The Brick OR a laptop OR a flatscreen tv.
I did not want to go because I knew it was a scam but my husband stated it was thru the car show & it was legit. He insisted that we go. Against my better jugement, we went.
Once we got there, we had to sit thru a presentation before we could claim our prize. WELL, let me tell you THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!! The woman who were there working we're actually quite nice but Steve is a whole different ball game. He plays hard ball & if you don't sign to join, he gets quite upset & starts raising his voice. He says he's just having fun with you, all the while, his face is getting redder & redder & his voice keeps rising.
The cost to join this club is $12,995.00 & the contract is for 50 years. They guarantee you savings of up to 80%. There's a processing fee of $300.00 and annual fees of $299.00. If you keep saying no, then another person comes to give you a better deal & lower payment option plan. Say no again, same thing repeats itself with a higher manager that will give you a better deal.
After all is said & done, you do get to pick your prize & it is one the above 5 stated prize. WELL, we actually won a trip to Florida BUT IT'S NOT EXACTLY WHAT THEY STATED.
IT'S A 3 NIGHT ACCOMODATION IN ORLANDO. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE AIRFARE, GROUND TRANSPORTATION, FOOD AND ITEMS OF PERSONAL NATURE ***ARE NOT INCLUDED***
This is not even a certificate, it's only a computer print out. It also states you must fill out the request form & send it to VACATIONS OF THE FUTURE, 1767 LAKEWOOD RANCH BLVD, #115 BRAEDENTON, FLORIDA 34211 within 90 days of receipt and at least 45 days prior to your travel date. You have 18 months to use this voucher. ENCLOSE A $25.00 US refundable processing fee.
THIS IS NOT WORTH THE PAPER IT'S WRITTEN ON!!!!
All I can say is that I knew this going in & now my husband knows it too. I guess next time he will listen to me regarding things that sound to good to be true. You get nothing for nothing.
Hope all of you who reads this, will be cautious & not waste several hours of your time for something that is UTTERLY WORTHLESS.

- Paul replies to SkepticalI got the same call from this so called company at about 8.30 pm yesterday offering me a guranteed 1 in 5 prize.
The number used to call me was 647-770-0102. Spoke first to some guy (can't remember his name) and then his supposed manager. Spoke perfect english and sounded pretty much local. They said that I had apparently filled a form at the Scotia bank Buskerfest. Like an idiot, I did give out my email id!.
They sent me an email from pbc@awardsdivision.com. Theyt gave me a claim number and the address in Woodbridge, which as the rest of the story was exactly the same.
Lucky I googled the firm and found this post. Won't be going. Wonder what legal approaches can be taken against such scammers! - simmyHi all,
Thank you for posting these messages.
The caller name was Alex Michael (sic!) pure indian guy ( not that I hold something against anyone, just funny he picked that name) . He said I filled in a ballot at Dixie mall in Dec,told him that I haven't gone to that mall since forever, he changed and said "one mall, anyway" , then all tactics applied as per previous posts. Set up a meeting (which I am not going to attend) for Fri , could not be other than 6 or 8 pm...will also have to go through a 2 hours session...
Called one of my friends after ,she's been through this before...she said that you actually go there, give them your credit card info ,listen to them trying to sell you stuff then win a stupid 3 days trip for which you have to place a deposit amount then the rest they will charge on your credit card, anyway.
So , be aware, it is definitely a scam. Nothing is for free, especially here .

- FFI just recieved a call from lady named Micheal who spoke with an Indian accent representative of Premium Buyers Direct (PBD) from telephone number 416-584-2444 telling me I filled out a ballad at a show ( I didn't) and had won the same prizes everyone is listing. Also in order to claim my prizes I have to go to the woodbridge office. The background was so loud I had to make her repeat everything in order to understand what she was trying to tell me. As soon as she told me I had filled out a ballat and won I know it was fraud.

- Thankful replies to Skeptical| 1 replyI just got a call asking me to come to the same address, 6175 hwy 7 woodbridge, but they told me the business was called PREMIUM AWARD CENTRE. Also all the same prizes as, listed below.
Managers name was Michael gave me the number 905-674-6174 x 110
I was skeptical because they said I filled out a ballot in Dec and gave my maiden name but I have been married for 5 years, and could not give me a location as to where I filled out this ballot (hundreds of locations!)
Thanks for the information! - Caml936 replies to ThankfulI just got off the phone with "Michael" the manager as well!! same phone number and address...basically both my husband and I have to show up and we cannot bring our kids! Apparently we filled out 'ballots' at our local walmart which is a complete lie. I'm glad I Googled this while I was still on the phone.
Both people I spoke to had very strong accents and could barely understand what the first guy even said to me.
We will definitely NOT be going! - John SmithWhat a scam this is the reason why people don't like foreigners, we should all call back and tell them they won 1 of three prizes...a one way trip back home to stay...a visit from the transvestite orgy group of Ontario or one large flaming bag of elephant poop!!!!!!
P.S Don't believe one word they say. Harass them instead! - sara replies to Angry CustomerThank you all for posting. I just received the same call from Joesph. He told me to go to address 6175 highway 7 unit 6 woodbridge to claim my prize. My win ticket number was 47854 he asked me the same questions as everyone else if I have a spouse or engaged. After I told him i am engaged, I asked him for the numnber that i can reach him.
He hunged up and told me that I was too difficult to deal with and that he will give my prize to someone else. Lol now I know he is a scam. I should have wasted my time all the way to Woodbridge.
