this bloody number calls me every at 9pm, every frickin night ! I will end up smashing my phone ! I never answer, they can frik off !

Yes..  Just did received a call from this number.    File a complaint with the local Police.   For me, when I picked up the phone, no one picks up, and I just hear the ringing tone.

Had the  same tel # 1-416-581-8705 on my phone about 15 mins ago..I called it back .It sounds like the recoreded voice is saying "Optima Communications" ..then the woman goes on to say  something about ScotiaBank .........So I am guessing it is some kind of call regarding ScotiaBank clients.....a curtisy call of some sort

getting this call up to three times per day now! Driving me nuts. I do deal with Scotia so maybe they should leave a message!!

I get one or two calls from them EVERY day.  So, I called them back  LOL
Optima Communications International for Scotia Life Financial.  Now, I'm on the do-not-call list, but I have an account with Scotia BANK, not Scotia LIFE.  So, I'm going to report them until someone gets some jail time.... that sounds fair, don't you think?

I get one or two calls from this number DAILY, so I decided to call them back. I got a recording that said they are Optima Communications International calling on behalf of Scotia Life Financial. I called Scotiabank and they gave me a number to file a complaint, get this, within the office of the President of Scotiabank. I guess they take complaints seriously! That number is 1-877-700-0043. So I suggest anyone who reads this may want to call the President of Scotiabank. That will, I'm sure stop Optima Communications in their tracks!!!

Just received a call from this number. i ignored and got no message.

i just got a call form the same number, on my cell, it rang, i ignored it as i didnt know who it was , then there was no voicemail left so i went online to search the number, it is 416-581-8705, i know now not to answer it again

I work for Optima Communications and I know it does get annoying but it is on an automatic dialer and when you sign up at scotiabank there is a little box that you do check saying that people can call you for service and products!

I dont answer numbers I dont know so mabey you could leave a message or let me call you back. Every time I try to call back there is no option to talk to anyone or leave a message which makes it seem fishy!

I called back and the name in the answering msg is Optima Communications International on behalf of Scotia life financial. I suggest all boycott Scotia life financial.

The posting below by Optima is a big lie!!!!   Phone calls from 4165818705 are some sort of scam.  DO NOT ANSWER OR GIVE OUT INFO.  Received a call yesterday from 4165818705 on my cell phone.  I do happen to deal Scotiabank but theu DO NOT HAVE MY CELL NUMBER.

I work for Optima Communications and I know it does get annoying but it is on an automatic dialer and when you sign up at scotiabank there is a little box that you do check saying that people can call you for service and products!

We are getting even more unknown number calls since we went on the national do not call list. The way I see it, if it's important, they'll leave a message. I don't answer any more calls that I don't know the number. Thank goodness I have call display on my tv so I don't have to risk running to the phone.

I guess its a good thing I rejected the call.

I just Google'd this number not expecting anything and guess what, everyone is getting this call! I live in Brantford. I called it back but it said Optima Communications International mail box is full. Guess what I have magic jack so my number is unlisted but I do deal with Scotia.. im not even sure if they have my NEW number, very odd! I never answer numbers I do not know, but as I was on the couch it was bothering me not knowing who the call was from, so I got up and found this! They did not leave a message either, if they did I would have played it hear on the site because with magic jack all calls automatically are saved in hotmail in box. Thanks for the advice, I will also but my unlisted number on the do not call list!

BULLSHT TO THAT!!!! I did not check any little box! I am so aware of what I sign! I NEVER what any one other then people I know calling me at phone hence the reason i have magic jack and its unlisted!
