Busy signal when dialed.

This number sometimes shows up when you call using a voip telephone system, I found that out when I was testing my voip setup and called my cell this number 4166420882 showed up on the display

i got a call from these [***] suckers at 5pm and again at 5:30pm. They call everyday. i don't know what they want or what they are selling.

I let it go my voice-mail. Just silence...

This is the number that shows up if I dial out from my Vonage phone using caller ID block (*67). Appears to be out of service if you call the number back.

My boyfriend called using call zone (long distance) and *67 and this is the number that showed on my call display...

This is a # that appears when someone is using one of those phones such as majic jacks and skype.the calls to u r being made by someone who knows u or is planning to scam u! Be careful.

I received a call today from the same number person wasn't able to speak english properly. He claimed being an employee of Government of Canada stating that he need to activate my account for do not call list & stated that I will get a phone call with a 5 digit access code.

Person called back again and was asking for same access code. the access code was from craiglist..

I asked the person about his name & address, he was not willing to provide that information..
Beware of such calls..

i've got a call today, didn't pick up, listen to the voice mail - nothing...

i've heard a theory though - a wireless service provider makes the calls and charges you when you pick up (not sure but i think they charge as it was a minute or so), if you don't pick up your voice mail stores a message, even if there is nothing but silence, so when there are more then whatever messages in your plan - they charge you also, and it's not so hard i get like 7 empty messages a week (my limit is 3). and that might be cacked by the fact that the provider has no idea who/when/where called you. i might be wrong since i buy pay-as-you-go cards, and don't have any statements, but check yours...
i also get calls from unknown, all 5-s or 0-s... pretty much every week, i wonder if those guys will get tired eventually ...

Theibutler.com is who they claim to be. they wont stop calling and asking for information from me. They speak poor English (which is fine) but the line keeps on crackling and breaking up that I  am unble to understand anything they say.

I got a call from this number today. The voice was disgised, and said hello sonya, I hung up but thought it was a prank call, they called me 2 times more and I hung up both times. What the heck is wrong with whoever this is? I called back and the number just beeps like its not real.

Continued from my message above.. I don't know how these people know my name considering its not even my name that's under the phone contract, its my moms. I'm a little creeped. Altho I didn't get them to talk much since I just hung up as soon as I heard them say hello sonya in a disguised voice. The third time they called in a span of a minute, I let my friend pick it up and they started asking him if he was drunk when he wasn't, we were at my work because I was working at the time. My friend ended up hanging up and they never called back. Hoping they don't call again. Would love to see them caught and would like to know how they got my name!

Got a call from this no sayin he was calling from Rogers fixing the network in our area then he said he would send me a verification number back. Hung up the phone rang again with a verification no which was from craig's list and said not to disclose this number as it would be scamed, but the person assured me he was callling from Rogers, gave me his id and etcc.. so gave him the verificaiton number and he hung up saying the service is no ok. Called up rogers they said they would investigate this further and since I had not given out any personnel info not to worry. so lets see what happens next

This number is from FreePhoneLine.ca and appears when the FreePhoneLine number is called by a caller that is blocking their ID.

That is...

1) "Bill" has a FreePhoneLine.ca (FPL) number which he can forward to any other number in Canada (like his cell)
2) "Jane" calls Bill's FPL number but she decides to block her number so that he doesn't know what number she is calling from
3) Bill receives an incoming call on his cell and sees 416-642-0882 on his call display

Look, whoever call you by this number is someone who knows you. If you are using some sort of VOIP or  "Internet calling" and you want to hide your number with dialing prefix *67, the service will hide your number and at the same time will use 4166420882 instead. this is a phony number
