I have gotten this call numerous times, I have rogers added as a contact in my phone to avoid this one.  They are calling to ask about your payment of your bill, wether you have made it or not, it takes time to go through. After dodging them numerous times for about 2 weeks, i got a random 1-800 call at lunch one day, it was rogers.  If you piss them off enough they will try masking, private numbers :P Good Day!

This is a rogers phone number, I just spoke to the lady, who was calling from accounts payable, because I'm one payment late.. after having a rogers phone for 6 years!!!!

I got a call from this number today... I'm not sure who it is, they didn't leave a message. If it is Rogers, I don't know why they'd be calling me... I have nothing with them.

its rogers. its the rogers outbound department. they call to for free to help you set up your new phone, or go over your plan to make sure it was set up and you are aware of it. they let you know how much ld costs, roaming and if you go over your minutes. take the call. they help.

I was receiving calls from this number as well, and finally decided to answer it.  It was the nice people from Rogers offering me an LG Xenon at a very cheap price in appreciation for my loyalty--I have been with them for 20 years.  I have now received my new phone and I'm very glad I picked up the call--but I'm wondering why they wouldn't just e-mail me or make the offer through the MY ROGERS thing on their website (although the price was way better than what was shown for this phone on the website).

I get the same calls day in day out every *&@#$'n day several times a day. the latest theyve called is 10pm alberta time. if im not mistaken, telemarkerters are not allowed to call past 9pm. now since its midnight in ontario, theyre breaking the privacy law!!! and just to throw a hitch in this, im not a rogers client, never have been and now after all this, never will be

i just called that number and spoke with a rep @ rogers. her explanation was its a computer generated call centre probably somewhere in india that generates the 416 through promotions at rogers. she also said go to the do not call list and put in the phone number(s) of the 'offenders' as well as going to this site

and put in all neccessary info and complaint etc....and india has no regulations about the times they call....

I can confirm that this number is indeed from Rogers.

However, the reason they are calling is not necessarily because payment is past due, as many people with pre-authorized payments can attest to.

I answered the call and it was a courtesy call from Rogers making sure everything on my new contract was understood and if I had any questions about the new invoice or my new iPhone.  The daily calls stopped after I decided to answer the call.

I receive calls from this number daily. Sometimes 5 or 6 times. If anyone can figure out how to stop it please let me know.

I accidentally picked up this number. I just bought my phone, it was just a guy from rogers greeting me, and asking if Im ok with my plan thus far.

Dont give your info though, and call rogers and tell them your just got a greeting call about your new account.

I read everybody's messages and it looks really strange. My case was different because this caller talked with me. It was a man, why asked Ms. H.D.( my name). I said: yes i am Ms. H. D., why are you? He said something strange that i couldn't caught and i asked him to repeat the question? What is your name? i asked, but he disappear. It can be a person from Rogers, because he knows my phone number and my name, or may be he is just a stupid man, whose life is boring.

This is so annoying.

I received 5 calls from this # today and 4 calls from the 866 rogers #. Is this not a bit excessive?. My bills are payed up to date, and I haven't even received this last months bill. Shouldn't their stupid call centers have limits on them?

Has anybody tried the Do not call list?

I am getting extremely annoyed by these calls from 416-645-2105. I get one at least 5 times a week and consider it an invasion of my privacy as well. I do think that it is Rogers though. It seems to happen only when my bill is now due or just past the due date. When I am current with them it stops again.

is it an automated voice wen u pick up? fck this number has been callling everyday in the morning..!!

i am also receiving these calls, they call constantly like 10 times a day for the last 5 days.

I have just got a call from that number on my cell phone which is only about a week old and is also from Rogers,Hmmmm Interesting.

Yup....I am a Rogers customer and just about a month old at that and guess what this number has called me twice already...?????

How can I put an end to this? Anyone?

Put an end to this by paying up your bill. It is the Rogers accounts recievible number. Just had a call, can admit unlike some people that my bill was behind, so I paid it up while I was talking to her.

I am also getting the same call and like everyone else no one is on the line and I also have a rogers phone
