She was like, i am not authorized to disclose your info, please say it to confirm upur credit card info. Tf is wrong with these people

Called me like 15 times now, female voice asking for info

They keep calling me everyday. I’ve never answered. Just blocked the phone number now that I see your post.

Repeated calls. Never answered but blocked the number after reading this thread

416-941-0408 scammers, female native english speaker tells she's from TD bank offers credit score monitoring service, they know your name, surname and home address, but ask for date of birth and email. don't provide any personal info, just hand up

Report this number to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, they know your name and information and they are attempting to scam you for credit card information.

I got a call from this number and she wanted to sign me up for a ID assist 30-day free trial. I thought it was one of those third party marketing companies that often call and she had my postal code so I confirmed my last name and spelled out my email (it’s my secondary email that I rarely use and not associated with any of my credit cards or other accounts). I agreed to sign up for the trial but haven’t received any email confirmation yet which makes me think this person was posing as a third party group. Feel very stupid but I didn’t give out any information you couldn’t find on me with a google search so maybe I’ll be safe? Who knows

Missed call, called back and female on the phone did not have my info, she asked for my name and TD credit card info.

I got calls from them two days in a row. I called back thinking it was someone I knew. It rang once and a lady picked up. As soon as she picked up, she said she was from TD's credit card department, asking for my name. Right off the bat, it felt like a scam call because TD never calls. If there are any promos or change to your account, they will either email or send a physical letter.

I was the same. I normally didn't give them any info but I stupidly gave them...

I said my name and my address. She knew my postal code and so i gave them my address. Should i be worried?

Who did you give that info to?  For what reason?  This is how you get your ID stolen. Keep an eye out for crooks that will try to do address changes.

Wonder if it has something to do with Canadapost’s recent data breach.
Call me three times today. Pick up once and it was a girl with probably Indian accent asking if I was me.
After I said yes, it immediately switch to a different person that sounded like a native English speaker claiming they are TD and need some info from me for credit card fraud protection. I got suspicious as you don’t just switch to other representative without telling lol. As soon as she start asking for my credit card info, I told her I’m busy at work..

Got this call too. Said her name was Rebecca Miller. I just hung up.

Caller said her name was Rebecca Miller , saying she was calling on BEHALF of TD credit cards to offer a service that will send you a credit score and report for 3 months free trial and they would eventually charge you 19$ or something to continue the service ... anyways the only thing she could confirm was my postal code and asked my for my email address and full name. I didn’t give out anymore personal information than that because I felt immediately like it was a scam. NOBODY SHOULD WVER CALL YOU ABOUT YOUR CREDIT CARD ON BELAF OF YOUR BANK! This is totally a scam.. I hung up in her face after calling her out. They will try to make it seen like it’s not optional.. DO NOT fall for it.

This is a scam. I suspected this is a scam right at the beginning. The woman has a very sales-y voice and is a native English speaker. She was telling me she's from a firm (forgot the name) working for TD credit cards. The woman asked to confirm my first and last name. I told her I'm busy with work and hang up.

Same happened to me
She knew my postal code
Then I confirmed my last name and first
But I didn’t give her anything else
I just hang up the call
