This is a scam. I suspected this is a scam right at the beginning. The woman has a very sales-y voice and is a native English speaker. She was telling me she's from a firm (forgot the name) working for TD credit cards. I don't know why cyber security/police is not taking action?

Thus number called me a while ago. She told me she is from TD and asking me to change my credit card. She knows about my information and she just want to confirm about my information. I thought she is really from TD. I confirmed her about my information. I didn't know she is a scammer.

Just got a call from Rebecca Miller, says she's from Santel(?) and is calling on behalf of TD credit cards and needs to ask me some questions. I said nope. I get this call basically once a year and it's a scam.

I got a bunch of calls over the last 3 days from that number but yesterday I inadvertently took the call thinking it was someone else. She asked to speak to me. She knew my full name! I asked who was calling and from where. She identified herself as Rebecca Miller calling on behalf of TD Bank from SamTel. She proceeded to tell me the call may be recorded for quality control and training purposes blah blah blah…well as soon as I heard the first part about the call being recorded I did not even let her finish…I immediately blurted out to her ‘I DON’T WANT TO SPEAK TO YOU!’ and I hung up the phone. I guess she didn’t know what hit her and I’m never rude to anyone on the phone. I felt somewhat bad after, but now doing this search and seeing all these posts makes me feel good I did what I did. I did call TD to verify right after but I was on hold for at least 29mins I eventually hung up.

A lady named Rebecca said she was from TD and offered a credit card monitoring service. She talked about the many benefits and said she would give me a 30 day trial and if I wasn't interested I could cancel and started asking for my personal information. I realized after saying my name that this could be a scam involving information leakage or automatic charges in the future, so I asked about what exactly this product was and if I had to pay for it. She repeated what she had just told me. I continued to ask what exactly this was a product and probably because of my poor English, she didn't understand, said there was some misunderstanding between us and recklessly hung up, which made me a little sad. But seriously, if you get frequent calls like this, it might be a good idea to pretend you don't speak good English or keep asking a same question.

Hey this just happened to me and I gave the same information. Did anything happen to you after. I ended up saying no to the subscription and trail period as I realized after that it was suspicious. Wondering what the damage is for me falling for it.
