- AnkitYes I got the same call today. Rebecca Miller from Samtel calling on behalf of TD credit card.
- F replies to K| 4 repliesExact same thing happened to me. I called TD the next day, they verified it's a real program and transferred me to the third party company that offered it. However, I had to tell the person over the phone about 5 times that I want to cancel, and no longer want the free trial. They cancelled but said I still have the free trial and that I will get an email in 24-48 hours lol.

- TeeezGot called By Rebecca, pretending to work for TD. She knew my postal code and asked me to spell my name and last name. I figured that was a scam because she was insanely pushy. I hope they will be caught.

- LK replies to K| 1 replyDid anything happened after that call?
I gave my name and address and email but I did not agreed to sign up for the trial. But still, I'm a bit worried.
Hopping nothing will happen as email is completely different then on my account and they never asked my td account information( eg. credit card number).
Should I be worried ?
Thank you. - LK replies to LKI just found out that 4169410408 is not actual scam, Call / visit your bank and ask them if somebody called you.
My friend did that and they told him that someone actually did called him on that day from the bank.
I am going to my bank to double check this.
Thanks.
P.s. I will update you after the visit. - Jj| 2 repliesHappened to me but I was an idiot and said confirmed my address and email. Should I be worried and who can I call to stop whatever might happen? Or is it too late?

- B-Edwards replies to JjThat was prob a recon call. You can expect more scam calls, emails and even snail mail.
The correct answer to questions asking to identify any ID type info is "Who are you?" If you don't like the answer or it just feels wrong, you owe the caller nothing. - LK replies to JjYou can call the number on the back of your credit card. And they will tell you that someone did call you about that information. and also they will summarize what they were telling. You also can ask them if they did call you.
But they said that I am fine and have nothing to worried about. but definitely call them to make sure. - RiBlock it

- Sara| 1 replyAfter reading all these comments, I know it is a scam. She said her name is Rebecca Miller, very professional well spoken. Call came up as Potential Fraud - i was shocked when she knew my first name and kept asking 'is this you' when I answered with 'who is this' and 'what is this for instead of 'yes' (NEVER say yes!) She said she call back another time and hung up. SCAM! Block and report!
