I keep getting calls from this number 416-941-0408, multiple times a day. I never answer. I have blocked the number after reading these posts... so annoying

Have never answered this number but have got many calls, so I called back and the guy immediately said something along the lines of “thank you for calling blah blah blah on behalf of something credit cards, my name is Brendan (I think), can I get your name please ?” I didn’t say anything and he said hello a few times and hung up. Immediately tells me it’s a scam by how he answered and wants my name right away like that and I don’t know what company he works for nothing that I have.

Update: he said his name is Ben Larson on behalf of TD credit cards. Still doesn’t seem right because of the number that is calling is a Toronto number when my branch is not in Toronto

Calling me to make a protection on ky credit bureau and knows my name and saying calling from TD credit card well its a scam

so I got this call and didn't notice the shady stuff until after I had hung up, but all I did was confirm some things so am I good? I haven't properly signed up yet but I want to be sure.

it was a man that called me. i knew it was fake but thought to look up the number and wow. cussed him out and cut the call

I gave my personal information (e.g., name, address, date of birth, email) but nothing else. At the end of the call I was asked to confirm with a "yes" but I did not and the caller kept repeating herself and I kept saying no and she hung up. Should I be worried? I did not give any pins or credit card numbers.

They called me. This was for sure a scam. Please report this number.

This number has called me the past two days, I did not answer as I don’t answer calls from numbers I don’t know but I googled the number and it keeps popping up as a theft number

True . they are scammers .. asking to provide free credit scores ..block this number.
