I identified the originator of this call as CITI Commercial.  Since I have put my number on the do not call registry, I will be contacting them to stop these calls.

Correction- Citi Cards services home depot cards via Customer service in Jacksonville, FL and Gray Tn. Collection operations are located in Irving, Tx, and Gray Tn as well. So yes, a 423 # listed as Citi, is Citi, as I work at the Gray, TN Citi Cards site.

The do not call list does not apply to collection calls- only sales attempts. If you are the person who they are trying to reach, and you have a past due account, you can answer and work something out with a hardship program that will stop the calls, or you have the option of obtaining a fax # or mailing address to send a "cease and desist" letter that will stop the calls. If you dont know who they're trying to reach, tell them it's a wrong #, and give them a chance to verify the #, and they'll gladly remove it.

Weekends, Holiday's late at night. constant calling form this number.

This is a legit #.  I have a Home Depot account and forgot to make my payment.  That's what 12 mos no payments will get you.

Thankfully they called - My Home Depot card was slightly past due - don't want to wreck my credit! Helpful and nice. Not a scam number calling.

Kept getting calls from this number so I finally decided to answer.  They asked to speak to someone I'd never heard of, and I just told them there was no one by that name at this location.  She said "Oh, I guess it's a wrong number" and I replied "apparently so."  They were calling a couple of times a day but they haven't called since I answered this morning.  Hopefully they took my number off the list. I never even asked what they were calling about, and they never told me.

Some of us don't have accounts with these cards Andy!  Don't ass*ume everyone who is getting these calls is a deadbeat.  What a jerk.

I hope you never paid them.  I think this is a big scam to get your number.  They call me continually and I don't owe Home Depot a thing right now!

Apparently there IS a problem here. My husband recently signed up for a Home Depot card because they offered a 20% discount on a purchase he made, we don't "need" the card. When the bill came I noticed it was a 0% finance deal so I paid 1/2 the balance. I just got a bill in the mail and the due date is Aug.26. This morning (Aug 15th)  my phone rang at 9AM. I was up last night till 2A-M so I didn't make it the phone on time and saw the 423-477-6983 # on my phone. I didn't recognize the # so I Googled it which led me here.

I receves calls from this number 4 to 5 times a day....

All of you need to quit being special and answer your phones. They are calling to help.. they have payment programs that can assist. I agree Citi is a dirty company and that is why I no longer work there. The rep. will do anything and everything to help u out after all if u pay ur bill they won't be calling u in the first place. A lil how the calling work for outbound collections. It goes by your area code so if u moved and u received a call at 5am it's 8 am in Gray TN Eastern Time Zone. The dialer runs from the area code. I worked there for 3 and a half years in collections from 5 days past due to 180 days past due. They will help out! They are normal working human beings just like you. Citi gives reps a hell of a lot of options to help you out, so save your account before it charges off. That's when they really start the collecting believed me worked that part. If they are calling u and u think ur bills curr. then it's probably not, we wouldn't be calling u wasting money, and paying a rep too. So answer.. if u think a credit counseling service is amazing, then u are wrong. Citi has programs that actually last up to 5 years a 3 percent sometimes lower APR based on what u can do. For 5 year payoff plan. Talk to them!!!!

My problem is not that they call me (7 to 8 times a day) but that it is a machine so when I  do   answer the call,  I am asked to wait!     I work from home and time is money.    Either call me and be ready to talk,  or leave me alone!
