I am on the do not call list and also have a recording saying I do not accept solicitations yet the above number has bypassed both and called anyway.

I just rec'd the call and caller ID showed it to be from Chattanooga, TN.  I called the number back and it kept asking for a 7 digit code, which I do Not know.  I've never used CVS Pharmacy for meds at all.  It alarms me to think that someone has my info and could possibly be getting medicines under my name!  I live in a different state as well and use a privately owned pharmacy which is local.  I totally agree with you, "I am not a fool."

Bullsh*t, I am getting 4-5 or more calls a day, including sundays and late at night, and I have never had any business with CVS or Caremark in my life. This is the first time I have ever heard of caremark.  That tells me that it is phony., and you probably work for the crooks using this phone number.

No it's not CVS, it was some jerk saying he had info about your medicare.
Why would CVS ask for your birthday, they already have it if you have scrips with them.

I think you are right. I just got an automated call for my brother from CVS claiming he was close to needing a refill. He does not live with me and I hung up when they asked to confirm if I was him.

I receive calls at times from this # also and ID shows Chattanooga, TN and recording says important that I call the 877 # which I do not do,,I receive my info from CVS in the mail...they are a scam I believe at this ##,,,

I am quite sure this is a phishing number.  I have used CVS Mail Order Pharmacy for 7 years.  I just recently started getting phone calls several days ago from this number.  CVS Mail Order Pharmacy will send you emails but they do not call!  And they do NOT ask personal questions!  I have contacted CVS Caremark and gave them the entire information they gave on the recording.  The number they give is not listed in their contact numbers.  I will see what they say when they get back with me!

Got a call from this number just after I left a prescription for a refill.  The first thing they did was ask for my birth date "to insure your privacy."  I did not give them any information and reported the call to my prescription coverage company.  I called the number back, and they said they were CVS mail service.

I called that num.of tel.as CVS, IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THEY  ARE SCAMMERS.

They are making phone call, in the name of CVS, to ask for personal information.

I believe this is some kind of scam. I called Silverscript who is part of care mark and they did not know anything about my son's prescriptions,as I do not use the mail order service division that the 423-822-2465 number claimed to be.

Phone call stating it ws time for a Rx refill for my husband.  Claimed to be CVS/Caremark.  Requested Birthdate.  I hung up.

I am a customer at CVS Caremark, but my notification settings are for no phone calls. Caremark denies making this call. It is a scam.

Call came in at 6:45 pm - CID listed as CHATTANOOGA TN - picked up receiver but did not speak - a woman's voice said "Hello" - I did not answer and continued to keep the receiver off the hook until the call disconnected.

Calls every day around 4:00.  Annoying.

The number is legit, CVS Caremark.

After not answering the call from this number, a voicemail was left stating my legal name (correct) and stating that I was overdue on re-filling some of my prescriptions (also correct).

For me, CVS Caremark is the corporate "middleman" who handles/manages my prescription benefits on behalf of my health insurer, BlueCrossBlueShield. [The technical term is PBM or Pharmacy Benefits Manager.]

CVS Caremark being my PBM has nothing to do with CVS Retail; I actually fill my prescriptions at Walgreens. CVS Caremark is "hired" by BCBS to be their PBM.

Of course, be aware that scammers can always spoof any Caller ID they wish. In this case, however, the private information left in the voicemail confirms to me it was a legitimate call.
