- HeatherMy mom is getting calls from this # and she doesn't use CVS for any prescriptions so it must be a scam. She gets tons of PCH scam calls and fishy charity calls
- MaryRobo call asking for me from CVS. I have never even been in a CVS store. They said my prescriptions were ready for refill. I just hung up on them. Sure sounded like a scam to me.
- Caller: Said they were CVS
- Call type: Event reminder
- KIM replies to jimI received a call from this same number today (5/31/2017) claiming to be my insurance company (automatic call) stating they were reminding me it was time to refill my prescriptions. Then the automated serviced asked "Is this Kim" and remembering there was a scam out there to get you to say Yes (they ask can you hear me) I took no chances and said NO to the question. Who knows how these slimes will attempt you to say YES on the phone. Incidentally, it was not my Medicare Plan D prescription drug coverage company so I already knew it was a scam call.
- KimAsked for birthday after telling me i had refill. After i gave them a false one, they hung up. I called back they wanted my 7 digit cvs # also false. 4:10pm call.
- Caller: Chattanooga TN
- DC replies to SandraKenmore, WA -three calls today and one another time from 423-822-2465, Chattanooga, TN re prescription refill. Am on do not call list, but they still got through. Did not response and hung up right away.
- Deborah AllenReporting this call to me as a.scam. saying I needed to refill meds and asking for information
- Caller: Didnt wait for name
- CatNo message left. Don't know who they are or what they want. Calls need to stop immediately or will turn them into the Attorney General.
- Rita BookI received a call from this number also staying it was CVS Caremark.
Return call back said they needed a 7 digit security code. I have no idea what they are talking about.- Caller: CVS Caremark mail order division
- MikeIf this is CVS Caremark the system is implemented Very ineptly. It did know my name, and coincidentally I just obtained my first prescription from the local CVS in person (no mail order). They say to call back to 877-766-9481.
Reminds me of another terrible mail order pharmacy (Accredo/Express Scripts) that is well known to be incompetent and low tech.- Caller: "CVS Caremark", maybe
- SCAM SCAMGot a call at 4:20 p.m. on my machine. When I played back message it said it was Aetna Ins. reminding me I forgot to renew a prescription and that I had to call them back. When I did I was told to say my first name and when more questions were asked I got suspicious and hung up. Earlier in the day I got two other suspicious calls and they had asked personal questions and asked other questions to which they expected a "yes" answer. Caller ID said "Unknown Name".
- Caller: Unknown Name
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- just meSame as other reports. Said it was CVS. We do not and never have dealt with CVS for prescriptions. Far as we are concerned, it's bogus & number is blocked.
- Caller: No Caller ID
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Ron Cobb SrInternet Security Alert. Associated with call back number 1-877-663-9441. Announcement continuing on speaker non stop. They want you to hold down the Microsoft key and r. Why? I feel that this is a scam. They say that they are a company associated with Microsoft. It sounds like a foreign call because of the dialogue and how they speak.
- Karen replies to jimHi, I got the same call. It was CVS *mail order Rx* which is what my mom has. They still should identify who they are on Caller ID, therefore, I will use the number on the insurance ID card instead.
- JoannaScam call from "CVS". Hung up when they asked for personal info. I've never used CVS pharmacy.
- Caller: CVS
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- MSI in MarylandReceived voicemail on my work phone from Aetna RX Home Delivery Pharmacy calling for [my wife's name], saying she had a prescription ready for re-fill. Asked me to call 1-866-532-7339 and enter extension 318-4133. Logged in to AETNA web site, no prescriptions needed a refill. Call back number does not match AETNA RX Member Services number on my medical/prescription card.
