I recently got body work, too. So if this is a "legitimate" business, why don't they leave a message when you don't answer? Who is going to answer an unknown number these days? They may be "legitimate," but they do not operate in a legitimate manner.

They don't leave a message because they don't have a line for incoming calls. Yeah, they could leave a message and explain what they're doing, but are you going to save the number in your cell phone so the next time they call you'll pick up? They hardly operate illegitimately and they don't block their number (which would be a big red flag).

For the record, I had body work done on my car a couple weeks back and it was just a guy asking me to rate my satisfaction on a number of criteria from 1-10. He confirmed my name and the name of the body shop and that was it.

Really, just pick up the phone if they call, answer their questions (or tell them you don't want to participate) and that'll be the end of it.

They've called 5 times in the last week.  Very annoying!

Oh, I recently had body work done on a car, too.  Maybe that's why they're calling.

After reading comments here, I picked up the call when it came in tonight.  As expected, it was just a survey about the repair shop where I had body work done recently.  Hopefully they now have what they need and won't call again.

We had some work done recently at Maaco. Must be the same repair shop survey.

I had the same type of call seeking my satisfaction with a national auto painting company (MAACO).I had one of my vehicles recently painted by them. The young lady was very courteous and the survey was over in just a couple of minutes.

It is a telemarketer research company.... wish they would not call after 8pm

Come to think of it. I, as well, had body work done through USAA.  I started getting calls with no message left from here.

When my car was returned to me, the shop I used said that someone would be calling me to conduct a survey.  I was told by the shop that USAA does this to be sure that the body shop is doing good business for its customers.  I don't answer strange numbers and only call them back if they leave a relevant message that I am expecting.  I even state this in my voicemail greeting. I am not calling back or answering until I get a relevant message.

I got a call from this number as well same as other posts.  I blocked it through my cellphone provider.  Don't know who or what they want.

I have been getting the calls for a few weeks now, I did get body work done recently but I am not willing to do a survey when they call repeatedly so many times and so late at night, latest call was 10:30pm.

I called the companies main line and complained, they said they will remove my number.

This is a human cloning scam number, they tried to get me to spit into an envelope and mail it to them, also asked if they could get some flakes of dead skin and stool samples too. I was like, OK, sounds good to me, sent them the desired items and I still have no received my clone yet. I hope he didn't get messed up in the cloning process and got two heads or something. I hope it just got held up in the mail and that it will arrive soon...........As I am writing this I am realizing that I am the clone of myself that I have been waiting for and the real me is on mars trying to free the lower class mutants and release the oxygen held in giant ice cubes under the martian mountain!

I was a lab technician just doing my job like every other day, now I have to eat out of a tube and got one of those holes in my neck like a smoker, you didn't pay your bill either.

Who knew that a fender bender would lead to the discovery of my long lost triple threat sister? I thought I was the only one in the universe with three! Do you have extra eyes, too? Tell me where so I know you're telling the truth. Oh, and don't worry guys, pretty soon the frozen donkey wheel will turn and we'll travel back in time so there will be no neck holes, demented precogs, busted windows or puffy eyes. I can't do anything about the clones, though. Aloha!

When I called that number back, the recorded message sais that they are researching and doing a survey on products that we may have tested or just information of our opinions.  I never give anybody permission to call me to take a survey.  Oh well.....I just don't answer the call.  Of course, they never gave their company name on their recorded message either.   :P

I get so many of these types of calls.  People wanting the information from our printers, so they can ship cheap toner w/ and invoice and get paid.  

If they do ship to your company, concider it an unsolicited gift.  

If these people call, keep them on hold. :)

435-750-4933, 435-750-8797, etc. from Information Alliance.  These Survey Calls are allowed under the DO NOT CALL regulations ( https://www.donotcall.gov/ ).  Calls are from Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) stations.  I called their number at 435-750-8767 ( http://www.infoalli.com/location.php ) and they are going to remove my number from their call list.  They seemed very nice about it.  Their Surveys represent about 15 different companies, one of which you probably have done business with in recent history.

They called about repairs to my car as well.
