Got the same message on my work phone at 20:34 with the following message:
"!!URGENT!!  Large Parcel Awaiting Delivery Please Call Now On  +43820899510  Regards, International Parcel Deliveries". Looks like a scam, so have asked our security people to investigate.

was expecting a parcel from the states so thought it was genuine, called the same number ending in 510 and got thru to automated service, tryed again and again but realised there was something not rite about it. defo a scam, its such a shame there are sad people in this world who enjoy wasting peoples time and money on ridiculous scams like this, what do they achieve i wonder...you just have to feel sorry for them as they must not have a life.
remember if someone wants you for something and its important or you have paid for a delivery service and awaiting a parcel they will bring it to your door or get back to you. dont go chasing stupid text mesgs like i have.

I've been had. I called it several times. It asks you to put your mobile number in and then repeats the number incorrectly. I was waiting for a delivery

My wife got all of the above and we will not be returning the call TO THESE SIMPLETONS.

Got the text yesterday and I was waiting for a delivery so I stupidely called the number.  When I got home my parcel was there, I went online to check the message and found this blog.
Will speak to my telephone provider tomorrow and will let you know the ransom!

I had a text from these so called parcel people, I stupidly called it as I was expecting a parcel.
Obviously nothing arrived.
Will call my operator tomorrow and see what they say.
Does anyone what happens?

After same text, I called yesterday in a panic expecting news of a delivery from Sweden. Luckily I called them back on my BT landlin. I've just checked with BT, and even though I was on for about 3 or 4 minutes going through all the options(!!!) to my great relief, I do not appear to have been charged at all by these flaming nuisances. A call to Austria for that length of time should have cost about £1.20. BT said this happened a while ago, then stopped, but obviously these people have restarted again. BT can't stop them but at least they alerted me with a message to my phone about a suspicious call from Austria!!!Any money thay make must be from mobile calls? Feeling stupid but relieved!

Yep, got this too.  Message sent from UK premium number, asking me to ring the Austrian number.  The sad thing is that there are actually people who will ring.

they sent me a txt saying urgent parcel awaiting delivery and call that number.
I am actually expecting a parcel so I called it but after a minute I realized it was not professional and kept transferring me around in queues so I ran off.
These people are dishonest scum.

Thought it was a scam but was expecting a pacel from USA. So I rang automated service was dragging the questions out so I hung up. Rang my service provider was getting charged about 18p per minute.

Me TOO!! Only I was expecting a parcel and called it!! I even got a delivery time and a consignment number...parvel never arrived though~!!

Received this txt on Sun 5th Oct. The Austrian number went through to an automated service. Called caller Id now just for fun & a Scottish woman answered. When she asked who I was I hung up!

I got this on Sunday but didn't immediately call it, I thought it was suspicious. Unfortunately I WAS waiting for a large parcel to arrive from America. Tried to contact the Americans to see if it was them and didn't manage to speak to anyone. So, foolishly I called it last night. An automated voice asked me to enter my mobile number, I did, the number was repeated back to me incorrectly, I did it again and once again it was repeated incorrectly. I wrang off. They were obviously trying to keep me on the line. I called my phone company today and told them they are looking into it. They would not confirm whether or not I was protected.... I suspect next months bill will be a big one!

IF YOU ARE WITH VODAFONE, they have a free service called Vspam where you can forward them the spam text and they will track them down. I forwarded the message to them, so if everyone with Vodafone does then maybe they can collect enough evidence to get them prosecuted. Forward the mesasage to 87726

I thought it was a con, as I am not expecting anything - where do these people get the numbers from? - mine is a pay as you go mobile.
