I got the same message Saturday 15th November 2008 at 15:48, I am not expecting any large parcel, definite scam.

As others except it was a missed call (no. ending in 913) I returned not a text.

number is slightly different..... they really do think people are stupid]

all the numbers used are international premium rate (revenue share) numbers.  The regulators (UK/Austrian) know or could easily find out who is behind this fraud.

Ambavox and Maxtis may not be the companies operating the scam but they will know who they have supplied the numbers to. And remember these numbers are revenue share numbers.

It's also interesting to note that Maxtis also supplies Sierra Leone numbers for use to bill for premium rate 'services'.

Me too. Bang on my birthday as well, so it seemed legitimate. Plus the fact that my Dad is abroad at the moment and may well have sent something.

But then I realised that no parcel company would be given MY number by another person. So I googled and voila - found this page!
