got a text from +43820990914 this is a scam not unless you are waiting on a parcel from austria as this is the international code for austria

I was expecting a parcel but suspected a scam since the number i was asked to call was foreign.
The network providers need to stop these scams.

Text received regarding urgent parcel delivery.Scam suspected. This number ending 914 given to call. Call originated from  +447765880637

My hubby got a text message at 6.15am this morning glad he never got back to them. I decided to google it and found this site! Thanks guys for your info. I wonder who the hell it could be???

Forgot to say they said it was a large parcel as well!!!!!

recieved the text at 00.16 this morning (12.10.08), guessed it was a scam as i am not waiting for any parcel so chose to ignore it!

Received the text at 2-10 am phoned the senders number but call was barred. This has got to be a scam or has Father Christmas changed his mobile number !!!!!

!!URGENT!! Large parcel awaitnign delivery Please call now on +43820990914 For delivery Tomorrow. International Parcel Deliveries.

It came at 03:14am Sun 12/10/08

Not expecting a parcel and it came on my personal mobile so know its a scam.

Got this message at 6.05am, called as expecting parcel from China but engaged, hope nothing untoward is going to happen with my phone now.  wish i'd looked it up first.

I got the same message at 7.22am.  Luckily I had my phone on silent so wasn't woken. I didn't call the number but it makes me feel sick when I get something like this and realise how devious and manipulative some people are.

I received a text on 12/10/2008 at 04:42 from phone number +447901882351 reading, Urgent large parcel awaiting delivery please call now on +43820990914 for delivery tomorrow international parcel deliveries. Needless to say I have ignored it.

I also recieved a text at 04.36am from +447919343780 saying !!URGENT!! Large parcel Awaiting Delivery Please Call NOW on +43820990914 For Delivery Tomorrow International Parcel Deliveries. I have also ignored it.

Bogus Message at 09.14 Sunday morning 12th Oct, from  UK number +447765880171 saying to call ?Austrian number.

Definitely a con, be careful and don't be tempted to ring the number.

I got this too at 3am - glad I'm not alone - but have no idea how they've got my number

Me too but as I am expecting a parcel I called it back, but I got the message from this number +447876260920. Definately got to be a scam.

Sender number was 447919348065 and the number to call was 43820990914

I have deleted this

I got a text at 3.14am Sunday morning saying I had an urgent parcel which needed to be deliver - Where do these people come from???

I had a text at 08:38 on Sunday morning telling me there was a large parcel awaiting delivery.  Ignored it.
Have just placed an order with Amazon but I know they would e-mail NOT text anyway.

How can we report this number?
