Got a message at 04:50 on 12/10/08 also saying "Urgent" Large Parcel Awaiting Delivery. Called the number given (+43 820990914) from work but obviously a fake number. Also replied to the number the message came from (07919 343780) aking who it was- maybe shouldnt & not expecting a reply!

I got this text 10.45 on a Friday stating URGENT Large Parcel awaiting delivery .Please call now on +43820990914 for delivery tomorrow. International Parcel Deliveries

I got a text at 05:30 on the 12.10.08 from the same number to call about a large parcel.

As i've ordered a few things from Amazon I was tempted to call. Either it was just lucky for them that they texted me or they are accessing purchase information on us somehow!!

Very worrying, something surely can be done about this??

I got the same call at 23:38 on 11th Oct 08; mine originated from 07919 343780; I'm an IT Manager and I see these type of scams every day. Curiosity always brings in some sucker who phones or replies to the email scams. Don't do it !!

I got sent this text message as well on sunday morning at 6.01 am , if you use the function on your phone to iuse the detail there are 2 numbers , one from text and the othher is a uk number +44 791934 3780 . If you ring it it will ring then somebody hangs up straight away , suspect is a scam

got same txt about a large parcel, thanks to this site I didnt fall for any scam. Thanx again

What annoys me is how they got my number in the first place!!!! Who's giving out my details...better not be Apple or O2 otherwise there'll be hell to pay!

DID ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCE THE TEXT DISAPPEARING FROM THEIR PHONE WITHOUT YOU DELETING IT?

Got a similar text at 17:57 this evening noted on my phone as from my husband.  Very odd, and he message seems to have had two origins - hubby's number and the reply number.  Needless to say I have ignored it and erased it from my phone.

ive had 3 of these now 2 in the middle of the night and the last one @ 16.56 sunday the 19th oct its a scam but i bet they also get loads trying it at £1,50 just as soon as its answered   at the other end
ive got the iphone and this does not save the number in my text box just tells me to dismiss the text

Just got the same urgent parcel text from +43820990914. Thought it was a scam - now confirm through this site. Thanks.
Ps Its just deleted its self from my phone!

Talking to mobile operator & mobile insurance company was in vain; they will not help and take off charges form the bill. I was prey Lost £10...
