They keep calling asking for Brenda Gonzales. It's not me that's for sure!  I told her twice she has the wrong number and she gets annoying and tells me to tell Brenda to call her. *shrugs*

OMG they just called and i submitted a loan application.  They convinced me that they can help me refinance my home blah blah blah!!

They called my cell phone on several occasions and didn't leave any messages.

They call and call all the time and I don't answer it unless one of my kids accidently answers it.

My insurance has paid the bill and they insist that I still owe the money.

There was a delay in the payment since the ER did the bill as 2 different bills since there was blood work and an IV needed. I paid my co-pay and gave them all my info at the time of the visit.

My insurance paid the first bill assuming it was the whole thing and then I was getting hounded by West Ass MGT. so I had to write several letter to my insurance co. to get them to pay and they did pay the 2nd part of the bill. Now West Ass MGT. wants to get paid again directly and they keep calling and calling.

I keep them on the line and keep saying "umb..........sorry can't do that" everytime they offer a payment plan as if they are doing me a favor. They normally get mad and hang up. I am polite but keep saying "sorry can't do that". "It's not that I don't want to, I'd love to ............but not right now".

When they ask if you can pay it now with a CC or check say "Yes, I can ...(very polite and matter of fact make them wait and then say) but I'm not going to".

I think they get their hopes up you are going to pay and then you don't and then they hang up after a while.

They called on a school night once and hung up after 2 rings at 11PM.

I am tired of these people calling me...They keep calling me at work and when we transfer them to voicemail they don't leave one...Really annoying...

I have been in this business for a long time. WMA is a nuisance. These people are trained to do whatever it takes, even in a grey area, to get you to pay. They do not care if they are calling a wrong number. A decent collector can easily discern if a number is correct or not, and it takes a click to get the number out of their auto-dialer. That is, if a human is even touching the accounts. Usually these companies just run "campaigns" and the dialer does all of the work. It is also common for these types of companies to use databases that keep entering phone numbers into the system, regardless if a human has taken them out 100 times before. It is a huge liability for these agencies but they seem willing to take the gamble.
Send a cease and desist, keep copies, and keep copies of your phone records.
Keep in mind that if you owe a debt, you can be sued if you do not pay, depending on the amount owed, and whether or not the debt is within the time statutes in your state.
I also want to address what "Blue" stated earlier. The "two-day" rule only applies in MA and possibly one other state. Usually an agency can call you all day long (8am-9pm) as long as they do not leave a message with a person or machine.

iam sick of the calls i get from them they call 4 or 5 are five times a day they are trying get any infarmation they can from you they have be something you can do about thease [***] they are a rip off out to steal you id so they sell it on line to god knows who on line

These guys call and call and call.... you answer no one is there or you dont make the phone before it stops ringing and all you have left is the caller id #... Sick of these kinds of a**holes... gees you think if I had the money in the first place I would pay the bill... then they don't want to work with you with what little you can squeak out of your check... they want it all and all right now... and they try to collect the full amount and never take the amount your insurance pays off your bill... so it gets paid twice if not 4x after they are done!!!  why doesn't someone make this illegal its almost loansharking... my observation of collection companies... they all suck... they make your life a living hell if your a widowed single mom with 4 kids...

Ahhh . . . now it's clear. They must be calling about my hospital debt to St. Mark's Hospital from September. I still owe about $900, but when I contacted their billing department to make arrangements, I was put on hold for an hour. When your main phone is a cell (with limited minutes), it isn't very helpful.

They keep telling me i owe em money. Perhaps they are trying to hit me up for the Goverments screw ups of letting in illegals, for cheaper pay?

According to My CPA which is also my Lawyer, if they keep calling me I could in turn sue their [***] for harrassment...

They are pests and do not stop calling my home phone number.  Some nights they call my home phone number five and six times.  I have Caller ID service on my home phone.  They are West Asset Mangament; 443-550-7975.  They do not leave any messages on my home phone voice mail or answering machine.

No identification as to who they were. It was a live person on the voicemail. Told me to call back 877-411-7197.
If you are being harassed by anyone via phone, you can request their mailing address and send them a notarized "Cease and Desist" letter via certified mail as a legal means to notify them not to call you and to communicate only by postal mail.

I am receiving numerous calls from this company/phone number but no one is ever on the other end of the line ... Very irresponsible on the part of this company. Obviously an inept organization. I am not quite certain how this may be illegal - Absolutely irresponsible, but perhaps not illegal. How can you file a complaint, and if so, to whom?

I have put all my phone numbers as well as family and friends numbers on the "DO NOT CALL LIST" But it doesnt seem to help. I STILL get the ANNOYING phone calls. The number 443-550-7975 shows no name and "Out Of Area". This is a rising problem with the phone industry and I'm about to lose my wits end and will have a "Meltdown' on the next one that calls!
