Also make contact by phone, fax and email with third parties (individuals and companies) to verify current consumer account information

They have called my house looking for someone who I have no idea exist.  Several times they have stated that I was listed as next of kin and once I  asked someone how they got my name they stated they did an internet search of people with same last name in the area. I have told them numerous times to stop calling because I do not know the person they are looking.  I don't know what to do next.

Similar message on voice mail today, but they don't bother giving a company name on the voice mail. Since I don't know the person they supposedly are investigating, and I'm on donotcall.gov registry, I immediately filed a complaint. The National Do Not Call Registry uses this info to investigate companies and it could lead to law enforcement action. I have had this type of caller stopped cold by using this do not call registry complaint form.

This is a collection and skiptracing companies that are located at Coit and 635 at the Texas Credit Union Building on the 7 th floor... there is another part of this company located on Central Expwy between Royal and Meadows on the 4th floor.....This company does not have any back ground checks as far as employment goes.... They will tell you that they are running background checks on their employees and they do check but only in Dallas County.. Checks Plains County Texas DA there is a charge there of CREDIT FRAUD AGAINST ONE OF THEIR CURRENT EMPLOYEES AND ONE OF THE PREVIOUS EMPLOYEES...THIS IS A COMMISSION ONLY PAID COMPANY.... NO CAR.... NO MONEY....THEREFORE NO MONEY NO WINDSOR GROUP... Simple as that

This company called me as well as my mother this morning.  I thought something didn't make sense when i tried to research the company.  Fortunately, i recently became a member of a company called Pre Paid Legal Services.  I called them and they took down the information about the voicemail.  My attorney called me back about an hour ago, and said that I will never hear from them again.

I just got a call from a Christy Harris ext 1158 and she wanted to get a hold of an old neighbor of mine from over a year ago. I asked her how she got my number and she looked up an address that was close to the old neighbor and my number pulled up. It is nun of my concern to get a hold of my old neighbor. And as far as I am concerned i am not him! My number is mine and not a service for a 70 year old man! Go look for him yourself! Too far away from MI, too bad! I am not on your pay roll!

Trying to get aholed of your sister about a case & her car.Number is 1-877-295-7376.Wanted to know if she still had her car.I gave no asnwer to them.Who are they?

received a call from this number. Person didn't identify themself & stated they "locate individuals." I hung up-none of my business or concern

Called me three times in a row and never left a message:
Caller ID: 1-469-484-5750. I don't owe a penny to anyone, and more importantly don't have a penny.
So they can kick rocks.

They keep calling my wife's cell phone, asking for Christine, saying it's about her car that is in the repair shop.  It seems funny that this supposed car  has been in the repair shop since before Christmas 2009 and it is now 2/20/2010. And we don't even know Christine. After appx. 3 to 5 calls every other day, I called them back and spoke to Megan and told her not to call this number any more , because we don't know Christine, and are tired of their phone calls, She stated that now she will call every day. So, We are suing Megan, Christy Harris, and Erica, along with the company and possibly a class action law suit, designed to BANKRUPT  the company.  Don't know how it's going to turn out but my guess is it will disrupt their morning corn flakes.  Tired of their games!!!!!!!!!!

AJ Walker of Windsor Equity called me, my daughters,and their friends harrassing us about loans we never made. They constantly call and ask for our information about a case they have against us. They are liars because we don't make loans and never made them. We can afford everything we have. So, I just want these people to leave me and my family alone before I result to suing them!

Someone is calling and threating that I must call them back in 48 hours or else. What is realy going on.

This company called several times theatening, harrassing me and my family, Have no idea how they got my # and they refused to tell me. Claiming i had a debt from 1987 from Oklahoma, & i never ever been in the state of Oklahoma. They are just a bunch of hire goons, tryin to bully people-- Were reported to the BBB.

Hey...... these people calling from INDIA, CHINA and other countries. where hundred of call centers are running for getting money by fraud from USA and UK citizens... ITS ALL SCAM...

How it runs..........(for debt collection)

It starts when people tries to get loan online, they fill all their personal detail on that sites and problem starts from this point. all your information is sold to collection agencies (call centers) at $4 to $6 / Person, whether you got that loan or not.

SO what actually they (Call Centers) do...

1. They have all of your information includes: your name, social security number, address, employment detail, 2 references and a detail of amount.( which you didn't get)

2. For dialing purpose call center gets USA or UK numbers. they calls through various softwares (like: ICALL). And have various phone numbers.

3.They hire college students or some people and prepare them to communicate with you. (training classes for getting a bit of American accent) and gives them fake names (American).

4. They makes a write up for leaving message to threaten you. like:-

"This message is intended for Mr. john (your name).  john the very second you receive this msg i need you or your retained attorney to call me back. the issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. my name is ..........., and i am calling from financial accountability association, my call back no. is 123456789, i am repeating this for you john 123456789, john don't disregard this msg and call me on my number back. if i don't get any call from you or from your attorney........ wish you good luck, bye"

5. If you pick up phones ...they will threaten you by saying... that federal govt or federal legislation  is going to pressing lawsuit against you and your social security number. and try to make you remember that you took a pay day loan and never paid it back... so it is very easy to threaten you by saying that "such company falling lawsuit against you for your unpaid loan".
( you don't know for which loan he/she talking about and try to remember your last 2- 3 loans (which you actually got and never paid)).  At this time you stuck in the situation.

(according to my perception you never know "how many loan you took in last 1 or 2 year"- sorry-- joking)

6. They will tell that you are charged against these allegations:-  1. Theft by deception 2. collateral cheque fraud

7. They will tell u that they have sent various mails to inform you but u never replied and that was the only way to communicate you.

8.They will ask u to write a Apologizing letter that “your intention was not bad and you never wanted to run away with that money & you want to fix that issue by paying ..... amount.”


how to avoid them...

1. By telling that you have an attorney (Both criminal and bankruptcy). give any number by saying "call to my attorney"... they won't call.
2. By telling that u know : Its ALL SCAM .......... they will hung up.
3. By telling that its not my social security number....... they will never call.
4.By asking for the date of loan taken (online)........ they can't help you in this matter (by which u can come to know about scam)

Don't be afraid.........They won't sue........

I just got a call from a Cameron Norse who informed me that their was a fraud case pending and I needed to call him back to find out more about the case. This is a lame scam they need to be more inventive.

I received a call from Steven Easley at x1112 w/Windsor Investigations concerning a case#39941 against someone by the name of Denise Newton. (We have no clue who that might be)
We have no attention of calling these people back.

These people called my parents regarding a case for my ex-wife. They identified themselves as investigators with a case number and everything. He said his name was A J Walker and they wanted me to call them back. Whomever they are, they sound pretty hard up calling someone's ex-in laws!

Ms. Coleman, of Windsor Equity continues to call my work number regarding an account my husband has with Chase Auto.  I am not listed on the loan, my name does not appear on any documentation so there is no reason to call me.  My husband has been making regular payments to Chase directly and has a direct contact at chase.  the payments are up to date and as per agreement.  She totally crossed the line today and contacted my account executive from my work requesting my work main number and my husband's wherabouts.  this is completely ridiculous and infuriating and I have already contacted an attorney. can you make this ignorant woman stop harrassing me and actually communicate and follow the direction of the company that has employed her (Chase)??

A woman named Ms. Dixon from the Windsor Group is harrassing, belittling, condescending, and like you said, they are the hired thugs of auto loan companies.

I got the same call yesterday morning and the caller said he is Mr. Collin and trying to get hold of Diane Billy, I don't  know this name because we are new here in this place.  Got confused because the caller said to contact him with this number 877-295-7376 with the ext. 110 however in my caller ID it was the Windsor Equity 469-484-5750.  I was planning to call them today but have the second thought and have decided to search them here through internet and BINGO! thanks for all these comments.  Should they call me again I'm going to report them to the Sheriff's Office.
