I just got a call from this number.  It rang twice and then hung up before I could answer it.  I didn't bother calling back.

Same as many on the list here.  Phone rang once and then hung up.  I'm in Pittsburgh, PA...

I live in California and I received this call on a pre-paid cell phone # that I had not given out the phone # to ANYONE yet...
Received call 8:09pm, 10.24.09, they did not leave message.

Called them back, blocking my phone # first (*67) and a recorded message said:
"Welcome to HeyCosmo please hold while your record is retrieved..."

Basically this is a blast phone call service.

Same call received in Nashville, TN.  One ring, went to pick it up.  No one there.  I didn't call back.

I was in the middle of writting a text so i accidently answered it and it sounded like an automatic voice message say one sentence then hang up. i couldn't hear what it said because my ear wasn't on the phone at the time.

Got a missed call from this # last night. Strange number, i googled to here to leave this message

I got a call from this number on my business cell today, so I did a search online, because my phone only rang once.  I don't answer unknown calls, especially those out of my area code.  I found this info on another site in my search; poster's name is BeachBabe:

"I work for Verizon Wireless and after I got to work we pulled it up thru the system and it is a company called "Timeline Communications" with a history of calling you and hanging up before the cell phone owner has time to answer. Their system is designed so, that when you call them back (via your cell) you are charged. Legally you are responsible because they (Timeline Comm) AND your Wireless Carrier have actual proof of where YOU called THEM!!  So....
BEWARE!!!!  Some of the calls are averaging $8 to $29 PER MINUTE!!  

If this has happened to you... suggestion... save the number in your contacts as "Timeline Communications" or FRAUD.  This way you know not to answer or return the call."

I saved it in my phone book as "Do Not Answer."

Called back on my land line...Got they Hey Cosmo message. Looked it up on the internet and it siad it was a scam to get our number to sell. I'm in CA
