    Grrrr....
They've been calling me for months now! From different phone #s as well in the same area.  I don't even have a Wells Fargo account! They don't answer when I tell them to quit calling, so I've finally filed a complaint with the Do Not Call registry. Will it help?

Calls keeping coming every hour of the day.  It's annoying.  No one answers when I pick up the calls.  It's a SCAM!

    I WAS SCARED SH!TLESS, BUT
This is Wells Fargo's credit card service line!!!!! I just got off the phone a service rep at the 1-800 Wells Fargo number and they assured me that my payment had been posted and that this was indeed a collection call from them.

No one is on the phone.  They just keep calling every day at about the same time.  Who is this?  How do you report them?

My boyfriend and I both got calls less than a minute apart from the same number from people who claimed to be with Wells Fargo, demanding card and account numbers. I don't even bank with WF.
We called them back and harassed them after going online and seeing that it's a scam. My bf called and asked to talk to a supervisor but the woman on the other end claimed she couldn't transfer him unless he gave his SS#, name, address, and phone number. Sketch.
When I called back, I said I wanted to OPEN an account, so the man said he would transfer me to customer service, but all he did was hit some numbers on his keypad and then hang up on me.

    This is too much fun.

I toyed with them just now too!  So much fun!  But I am also very p*ssed that there isn't something we can really do about this - authorities?  I know the person we're trying to reach and she never lived here, she is our nanny from 4 years ago!

I asked for a supervisor and then asked her for their address.  "Portland", Um - yeah your ADDRESS.  Ok, what's your name "Rose" - Yeah, your last name?  She wouldn't - look, if you ask a callcenter supervisor for their name they will give you their full name.

I finally asked her what Wells Fargo trading symbol was.  She said she couldn't give out that information without knowing who I was!  Ok, THAT to me is proof.  It's public information and as a banking representative it is up to YOU to convince me who you are!

Whatever. Where's the cops in all this?  I guess I'll call Wells Fargo and report it but I've read that they won't do anything.

I answered and the Caller said they were calling from Wells Fargo.  I asked for a number to call them back and they gave me an 800# (800-988-8019).  I called the number and asked to speak with a Supv - "Rose" came on the line and refused to give her last name or mailing address.  I then called Wells Fargo directly and asked about the number.  Wells Fargo advised: "that is our collections agency".

I've had accounts with WF in the past, they will -always- leave a message when they call. And they are annoying enough to call you 10 times a day (even once -right- after I'd answered a phone call and scheduled a payment)

This number keeps calling me as well. What I would suggest next time you get someone on the phone from this number is to ask them to make a record in your account that you were called and that you will call back. Then look up a 1-800 number from their website and call -that- back. not a number the guy gives you. This is what I'm going to do next time they call.

Oh, and also, a bank will never ask you for your account number. They already have that! There are many other ways for them to verify your identity.

For months, they kept calling my cell phone several times a day from this number 503-403-2665 and several other numbers which from the area codes 505-xxx-xxxx or 515-xxx-xxxx.
I recognize these numbers so I never answer their calls.  It's really annoying.  What should I do to stop them legally?

I get 3-4 calls a day from this number.  There isn't anyone there and they don't leave a message when I don't answer.  Please stop calling.

When you recieve these calls it probably means that you missed a payment on your Wells Fargo Credit account.  I spoke with a representative and he said that he confirmed that it is actually connected to Wells Fargo Credit.
