Are these those phone spammers?  I've heard of Nigerian scamers trying to get your personal information, but I don't know if these are related.  You should never give your personal information out when you don't know these people, and they don't know you.  If they try to ask you for information don't give it out.

These calls are most likely coming from Wells Fargo in Beaverton, Oregon.  I have been receiving calls from this number also.  At first I thought that it was a scam.  Two local WF branches indicated that these calls were scams.  However, tonight I discovered that Wells Fargo does indeed have a department in Beaverton, Oregon that deals with delinquent accounts.  Apparently they use an auto dialer to conduct some of their business.  I verified this through their own web site at https://employment.wellsfargo.com/psp/PSEA/AP ... HRAM.HRS_CE.GBL.  The Wells Fargo in Beaverton, Oregon is currently accepting applications for various Collector positions in Loss Prevention.  I don't have an account with Wells Fargo, but a friend does.  My name was used as a reference years ago.  Now five times a day I am receiving calls from an auto dialer.  Say "NO" to Wells Fargo!!

if they are calling your cell phone,

go to your sound recorder on your computer. unplug your microphone. hit record for a few seconds. hit stop. save that file.

go to cellsea.com and create a free account. use the ringtone maker to make your blank sound wav into an actual ringtone... there are several ways to get the ringtone from the computer to the phone, i used a micro SD card and transferred it from the pc to the card and from the card to the phone.

now everytime you get a call from a bill collector, SAVE thier number as a "do not answer" name and assign the blank ringtone to that contact. you will never hear your phone ring from them again.

It is Wells Fargo collections. I *do* have an account with WF and I noticed the music right away when I called however I don't have a loan/CC with them, and this is a new number and I have not bothered to update my account. BUT...we have had this number less than a month and apparently in my state they only shelve phone numbers for 14 days (ugh) and the people who used to have this are being harassed by various collection agencies. As I know it is not me and not my debt I simply call them back, tell them the situation and they are very nice about it.

Also for THIS situation, you may get dropped into their main menu. When she had me on hold to take this # off that account, she told me the direct collection # to call if we got disconnected. It is 800.988.8019 - so if you have a new # and no WF account and suspect it is collections for the last phone # owner, just call them back! I know people talk s**t about Wells Fargo but you know what, I have had many banks over the years and they all suck in some way. Give them a chance :-)

Number calls 2-4 times a day, no message, music plays but no person online. I just do not answer!

BTW: Read ripoffreport.com for Wells Fargo reports. Over 1300 so far and more added daily!

This number with different last two numbers call me EVERY day, SEVERAL times a day. How can I stop it?

Hunt this entity down, burn them and the building to the ground, fence it off and leave it as an example to others.

they are calling for collections...I just called and found out they were looking for an old friend that once used my phone to call wells fargo...they are looking for her to collect money....its not a scam...

I get so many calls. I would not trust this number whatsoever. Don't even pick up.

I have been receiving phone calls 3 to 4 times a day from this number, i do not answer, but they are now calling my work number.

Its Wells Fargo.....and I owe them money but they can keep calling cause I have NONE. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

You can stop the calls by paying your bills. It is legit. Just answer, they will work out payment arrangements if you are having a hard time. With the economy the way it is, they will work with their customers... They are afraid of people declaring bankruptcy.

Constant calls on 1-503-403-2665, showing unavailable on my Caller ID. When I have picked up nobody there. Now I don't pick up unless it shows name.
There are calls every ten or fifteen minutes,everyday,including Sundays and late into the evening. I'm 82yrs, even tho I don't pick up,I can't help being anxious.
It's 8:00AM here in Seattle,so I know the calls will start again.

Calling cell# 4-5 times a day. Called back 503-403-2665 they said Wells Fargo, but couldn't tell where the # was registered. Going to talk with Wells Fargo today, and withdraw $????.?? for every call and close accounts if they can't find an answer to stop the calls.

Call them back, remain silent, eventually a real person (if you can call them that) will ask for you for account number don't give it to them, just ask them to remove your number form their call lists, give them no other info, if they continue to call, continue to call them back and tell them that your going to continue calling wasting there time like they do ours until they stop calling.

Call me everyday even on weekend! 5 time a day at least.

called at 8 am, i answer all my calls, the lady on the phone said i was over limit and "can't you sell some old work out equipment?" no my ex already did....
"these phone calls will continue." i then apologized and hung up

Leaves no message on answer machine

I am a wells fargo customer, but have no debt and no payments to be made. So if this is legitimate why are they calling me?
