- Landline| 1 replyThis is the second call I have received from this number today (12/20/2010). I have no idea what they want, as they do not leave messages. They are calling our land line. From what I've read this seems very suspicious. The caller ID says VIP 750.

- Being BotheredI got a call from (503) 688-2900 today. They fed me the same story and told me I won a free security system and that they needed access to my house to make an assessment. When I told them I already had one and would have no need for theirs, they got very aggressive as if trying to scare me into doing it. I do not know what I could do to report this but I just hope people do not fall for this scam!

- JohnI received a call on 24 Jan 2011, my second call. I googled VIP 750 and called their 1-800 number. When I called the automated system directed me to sales and got the answering machine of the
VP of sales. Googled his name and found that he is also the director of another security system. Then I looked him up in the white pages. I have not called his number yet, but I will call tomorrow to ensure that the company knows that people are being solicited under the companies name or if someone is using the name as a scam to get into houses.- Caller: VIP 750
- Landline 3VIP 750 please quit calling. They're calling the landline (Qwest).
Two calls yesterday about 4:30pm and 6:30pm and another today at 10:50am pst. I never answer numbers unknown and the caller hangs up when once the answering machine kicks in. We never enter contests either. Thanks to all for posting. Feels like a scam to me.- Caller: VIP 750
- mattSame thing- I won a security system without ever entering any contest. I have AT&T not verizon. What's up with these people?
- nickI recieved a call from them yesterday, 2/8/11, and they asked for my grandmother by name (not the name she goes by) which was really weird since she's never used my number for anything. This Mike guy tried to tell me she won a $1,200 prize package and wanted her number, I declined and got his number which was 888-847-1502 ext. 5422. Told him I wanted to talk to my grandmother instead of having him call her, he pushed for it a little but finally gave up, staying polite the whole time. Sounded sketchy.
I have t-mobile and my grandmother doesn't have a cell so how they connected the 2 is beyond me, same last name but that's it.- Caller: VIP 500

- an informer replies to concerned| 2 repliesWhen you answer the phone call listen to what they actually say okay. I worked with the company awhile back and I doubt that they said you owed it to them. What it is is that the package is valued at 1200 dollars. This company is legit and if you just listen to the words that are actually said it is the truth. I hate soliciters but they do tell you all that you need to know in the beginning. The entrys are real because they pay for them. Just becuase you dont remember doesnt mean it didnt happen. Please be aware of other things like this though becuase unlike vip750 some people are scammers.
- an informer replies to TK| 1 replyYou have to realize the way you talk to the people over the phone only determines how they talk to you back. She might not have been polite at the end but just remember if you are extremely rude then you are not doing the situaton any good. I just want people to know that the company has good things to offer and that these systems are good regardless of how they bring the product to you.
