- anonymous| 1 replyi am an at&t customer and just received a call from this number on my cell. they said i had won a home security system but it was under a different name so i told them it wasn't me. he was polite but very insistent that i should hear about what i had won anyway since my number was the one that had been put down. i have received calls from this number before but always ignored them since my phone does not recognize it. i ended up hanging up on him.
- PKCalled my cell, but didn't leave a message.
- Karen| 1 replyGot a call on my land line (rarely used) from VIP750 telling me I won a $1200 secuirty system based on a drawing from the Home Remodel Show I attended many months ago. The rep was friendly and deflected my skepticism but kept pushing that I had to set up an appointment within 72 hours for an onsite evalution. He knew my address, he also cited my favorite movie from the form I supposedly filled out (which I'm thinking could be info from my Facebook profile). I told him it smelled like a scam, I would research the company and then call back if I was interested. He was polite, gave me the web site address . . . but I don't plan to pursue, nor do I remember turning in this kind of information. I suspect some data sharing from Verizon or some hacking is going on . . .if it's legitimate I still don't like it.

- NA replies to billie| 1 replyIm glad you think you know so much about pyramid schemes and how they work. People like you are the reason people with a low tolerance for ignorance end up in prison for murder.
- jessica replies to KarenIts not a scam and they dont access any of your information online except for the information thatyou submitted to the drawing yourself. I can however, understand your scepticism. and incourage you to visit the web site. I will also tell u that it may not be too late to clame your package. all entries stay in a database for up to a year after your initial convorsation with VIP750 dispatch personell.
All VIP750 is is a security company that donates equipment and service to people who may not be protected in ther homes. They kick ADT in the pants in my opinion.
Just wanted to put your mind at ease and also make sure you know that verizon is not being hacked as far as i know. lol - Jessica replies to anonymousYou missed out. They probably already passed it to someone else who entered the drawing. Did you even enter the drawing? Cause someone may have just wrote down the wrong number in which case you would be really lucky. You get a $1200 security system for free and they install it for free AND they will maintaine it for free. I only have to pay $15 bucks a month for monitoring. They would probably give me free monitoring too but they have to pay a seperate company for monitoring on all of ther systems. If i was you i would call back.
- jessica replies to NALOL wow. Dont let him get the best of you. he is just ignorant like you said. ther ARE too many people like him in the world i will agree with you ther
- randy replies to Jim| 2 repliesTher is no generalized "do not call list" you have to request your information to be removed from each companies marketing floor. One company will not contact another company and tell them who NOT to call. thats a stupid thing to assume. You should educate yourself before you start bitching and moaning about geting marketing calls. ASS!
- jessica replies to randylol you are (billie sounds like a dumb [***]) arent you.lol
- candleladyI just received a call saying the same thing as all the other comments. She did have an answer to where the entry form had been filled out, although I know there is no way I nor my husband did it. I told them we were going out of town and wouldn't be available to meet within the 72 hour period.

- YvonneJust got the call from 503-688-2900.
They said congratulations, I had won a security system worth $1200. No cost out of my pocket except for the "daily" cost of $1.00/day to be connected to a company that does the monitoring of the system.
I told her I didn't recall filling out any forms for a contest. She said that it was about a year ago and that the form was filled out online. I asked who filled out the form and she gave me my husband's initial for his first name and his last name. He's the kind of person who might do such a thing. So, I proceeded with the conversation.
She said that her name was Margo and that she was calling from VIP 750.
Her toll free call back # is 1-888-847-1502 extension 5422 and she is available M-F 9 am to 2 pm
The number on my cell phone says: 503-688-2900 which is a Portland, Oregon #.
She said the next thing to do is set up an appointment for discussion with the person who would explain it all to me. I scheduled an appointment.
She said that a "Quality Control" officer would call the day before to confirm the appointment time. She then said that I should be sure to tell the QC officer that this is for the VIP 750 so that I would make sure and not be charged anything.
And, she said that when the person comes to the appointment to discuss everything, make sure that I give him a piece of paper that says VIP 750 to make sure that I won't be charged anything.
So, I'll see what the Quality Control officer has to say when he calls the day before the appointment.- Caller: VIP 750
- AT&T Wireless customerWe just got called by the same number, same story. However due to the fact we NEVER do any contest crap, never ever!
The only way they could have got this cell number was from AT&T Wireless. I know this due to the account is in my name, yet they called my wifes cell asking for me....
I told AT&T about this and they said they dont sell customer info...BS...
I would suggest anyone that is getting these calls on there cell to call the wireless carrier and then call your State AG's office and make a complaint, also the BBB which I plan to do all 3.
This is a violation of your privacy and you should do something about it..- Caller: VIP 750

- Brian| 1 reply5/3/11 @ 2001: Yep, just got the call. But I saw the name and answered with, "Hello you've reached our locate request line. May I have your name please?"
A lady asked, "Oh I was calling to reach Brian ______, is this the right number?"
I replied, "I'm sorry you've reached an order request line, would you like to place an order?"
She says, "Oh I'm sorry, I'll take your number off our list." and then hung up.- Caller: VIP 750
- MaryGot a call from these folks, offered a full security system, says they are local, right here in Portland, so I made an appointment and figure I can always check on them since they are not calling from some other country. Really nice funny guy, with everything going on in my area (West Linn, OR) its scary and a good idea.. Im sure its their way of doing business, which seems good or I wouldve kept putting off looking into a security system. We will see and I am hopeful to get a really great deal since they called me. Made appointment with them for tomorrow morning.

- Audrey GoodwinI received 2 calls most recently today 5-18-2011. Just got a new number have not given it to anyone or entered any contest.
- SpokaneWACalled on my cell phone. Didn't answer, no message.
- PHWe recvd a call last night(6-6-11) from this number informing us we had a chance at no cost to have a security system. I told him to hold and gave the phone to my husband. He listen & in the mean time I told him this sounds like a scam. He told them he was not interested, caller didn't take the hint. My husband repeated twice not interested and than hung up. He told me the guy kept going on and didn't listen to the "NOT Intersted" and so he said the guy was still talking and he just hung up, they didn't want to listen that we were not interested. They try to get some personal information, which my husband didn't release. I would not answer and advise others do not pick up from this phone number!!
