this is a telfund inc. and these people calling every day I really want to stop them....

Calling two to three times a day, don't leave message.  This has been going on for over a month

Calls many times throughout the day quite annoying

This is from an ethically challenged corporation that raises money for a number of different liberal political organizations.

Their web site does not work without Flash Player, which is just a dirty trick to set 3rd party cookies that most people haven't learned about yet and don't know how to delete.

After reading all the reports about all the calls made by your number, I think you should realize that your strategy is not working. I'm sure there are more productive ways to attract people to your cause.  So stop the phone calls as I'm sure it is costly as well as ineffective strategy for you!

I get at least 2 calls per day from this niumber.  No messages are left so I have no idea who it is.  My caller ID simply gives the number and TEXAS as the name.  I am also on the DNC LIST, but it doesn't seem to make a difference to these people whoever they are.

Second day getting a call from this number.  Going to block it now.

Frequent calls when I have been unable to answer.  But when I called back, they identified themselves as Telefund and said to leave my phone number, and they would remove me from the list.  I have no idea if the name is legitimate.  These people should be investigated.  I'm on the donotcall list.

ive become infinitely more happy since i started just picking up the phone from phone spammers and Just Remaining Silent... while they pause... and after about 8-10 seconds they usually start saying things like 'hello?  hello?  hellooooo?' before they eventually hang up.  others have posted more formal tactics of getting back at these people, but mine is quite effective at getting my number purged within a few calls from these places.

Just received a call from this number tonight. The person never spoke and a TV was on in the background. I hit *69 to get the number and this was it...(512) 916-0420.

I am on the Do Not Call List and still they call. I do not answer.

I started receiving phone calls from this company and it's pretty much as everyone has reported. I left a message with them twice via the (512) 916-0420 number, sent an e-mail to nsaunders@telefund.com, and no luck. I finally went to http://www.telefund.com/contact.html and called a local number. I was able to speak to a person and asked to be taken off their list. I hope this works.

When people post "DNC" here, they are referring to "Do Not Call" list.  Not the "DNC" Democratic National Committee.

i'm pretty sure moveon.org does not call, unless you're in their volunteer base...i'm on their e-mail list for years now & have never had a call.

my guess is it's some non-profit (probably one of the branches of the indian charities, there's a bazillion of them!) begging for money.

this is why i screen my calls.  let'em keep dialing!! any one legitimate starts to leave a message.

Got a call, no message

After getting one of these calls (that indeed stopped ringing on the third ring; I was waiting for my ans. machine to pick up to see if this call was from a friend i have in TX), and researching this number here, I googled "TELEFUND" and found out that this is a FOR-PROFIT fundraising company for 'non-profits', or so-called 'charities'.

People, its important to remember that ANYTIME YOU GIVE $ THROUGH A FUND-RAISER LIKE THIS, YOU (1) Encourage MORE of the SAME annoying phone calls, (2) You are allowing TELEMARKETERS to CIRCUMVENT the DONOTCALL LIST LAWS and (3) MOST OF YOUR DONATION (as much as 85-90% GOES to the TELEMARKETER, *NOT* the charity.    Therefore, You are helping to ENRICH the CRUD-SUCKING SCUMBAGS of the world!

BOYCOTT ANY CHARITY that uses these people  *AND* put in an OFFICIAL COMPLAINT on the DoNotCallList website, www.donotcall.gov/complaints against them.

Please stop calling

I get these calls too.  I always just ignore it.  They're only wasting their own time and money.  Screw 'em...
