But, if you text back they know your number is a working number and keeps on calling you. I report mine to the Indiana Attorney General.... maybe you can do the same with your states attorney general.

Got a call from this number today. Didn't recognize it so I looked it up and found all of your comments. Thanks for the heads up! I too signed up for the "do not call" list, but some are sneaking through.

Calls CONSTANTLY!!! Each time asking if I'd like to lower my credit card rates. I was getting these calls from a diffetent number a few ago. Same M/O. So now if my 10 year old daughter is available when they call I have her pick up and press the # to get to a person and she then responds with 'Pizza Hut, How would you like your pizza made today ?'  ROTHLMAO! They udually just hang up but it's funny as all H*^l! Generally this is how I answer calls from telemarketers anyway. Seems to work better than demanding that they don't call me anymore or tell them I'm on the DNC list.

Please report these [***] to the National Do Not Call List. Maybe the FTC can eliminate them if enough people complain.

Just received a call from this number. Didn't leave a message and when I tried to return the call, no answer! I've been getting calls from every Tom, Dick, and Harry all over the USA. What the heck is going on? Why is the telephone company allowing these morons to harass folks? As if our country isn't in bad enough shape and the liberals are making everything more expensive. It just un-nerves us that this type of c--- is allowed in the first place. As high tech as everything is, the phone companies could put an immediate stop to it!  Can't drill for oil, so we pay higher gas prices, per Obama, and we have to put up with harrassing phone calls from people that shouldn't be bothering us. Government is ripping people off, and everyone wants something for 'free'.
    It's just disgusting!

A friend of mine got a call from them.  They addressed him with a name that was right off his phone bill which is the only account that he goes by with that poarticular name combination.  So, that tells me they are getting the account info off ATT account names........hmmmmmmmm.

You would think that 60 minutes or 20-20 or one of the investigative news shows would pick up on this and do coverage to get the government into high gear to stop this.  It seems to be an invasion of everyone's privacy that the government seems to be turning its back on.

Same company calls from a thousand different numbers ... never the same.  Card Services" wants to lower your rate ... I've had many calls and tried many replies.  Yoou can't cll them ... always a mailbox that is full.  Bewar - they will want personal info "in order to help you" such as back acct #, etc..

If asked if they are your bank, they say they "work with your bank" then ask how much debt you have and what rate you pay.  If you ask  "If you're working with my bank, don't you already know that?" Instant hang up!.  But they keep calling.  Once I played along and got a number to call them back on that worked.  I asked for a manager and asked why they are robo calling in violation of the no-call list, and he said they are not connected with the people who called me!  "Those guys just make the connection and forward the call to us".  Yeah.   When asked who that was, he didn't know ... "we have many who do it for us ... couldn't tell you which one it was"

    Scam
I did some research on the number he gave me ... its a boiler room in Deerfield Beach FL.  They go by several names, including "Debt Free America" and American Debt Management"

suggest you go ahead and connect and ask the person on the other end if they feel good about working for a company that is doing illegal things.  If their employees hear this enough, after awhile their employees will start to think about what they are doing and maybe quit.  No one wants to be labeled as someone who does illegal things.  When people hear over and over that they are doing something illegal, my bet is that it will take a toll on their employees.  Their supervisors are all real scummy people and we need to let the employees know that is what other people think of them as well.

Telemarketeer. It's a scam about lowering interest rate on credit card. I don't have a credit card. Pressing 1 does not remove my number from this spammer. There is no way to stop this from happening. It should be illegal. I am concerned it may be sponsored by all cell phone companies as the harrassing calls continue to eat my minutes causing me to pay for more minutes thus allowing the calls to continue. A vicious cycle.
