call 520 798 4152 to complain speak to the secretary

This unwanted and unanimous telephone line 520 798 4152 has reached my Google number today and left a message to call 888 8172153 (US Census Bureau) . This is a scam. The woman has a very heavy accent (She was calling from India , I guess ).  I need to file a formal complaint to stop this BS.

If you check the Census Bureau it says that they will NOT call you for a survey unless the FIRST send you a letter letting you know they will. And yes, it's illegal not to answer questions from the Census Bureau but be sure it's really them.

This number is a scam.

I called both - 888 number works sort of.  I called this number and some spanish speaking lady comes on and says that she is with the US census bureau- I aksed where she was located - -can't tell me.  I asked why we (business) were getting this call - about a surevey mailed - she gave me the address and I said that this was a business.  She asked for the name and I declined. Told her to take our number off their list and she could not - total nonsense.

FYYFF!  I hate these scammers.  claims to be US census, I just hang up.  They need to go eat a bad of juicy dicks and die.  Thanks! :)

me again....I reported this number above earlier this month....they are still trying.  It is my business line, and I have to answer all of my calls or I miss out on sales.

Received call from this number (male with strong accent) stating he was from the US census bureau and was he calling xxx-xxx-xxxx.  I informed him he had the wrong number. He called back, left message to call 888-817-2153 and gave a case number.

I got a call from a person, man, who was listed as Census Bureau.  He identified himself as the United States Census Bureau.  He got the phone number (mine) mixed up when he read it back to me.  He had a foreign accent, Arabic perhaps.  When I was reluctant to respond and asked where he was from, he hung up.

I didn't recognize the number and let it go to voicemail.  An automated message was left on my voicemail telling me it was the Census Bureau calling.  They sent a survey to my home in January 2014 on which I placed my phone number because I was expecting a return call due to my response to their survey.  (I gave them my phone number in hopes they would call instead of sending someone to my elderly father's door.)  I called them back and spoke to a woman who began asking all the questions that I ignored on the survey.  I told her I would answer no more questions and hung up.  

I got a call from this number yesterday....a Sunday....and caller ID showed "Census Bureau." I thought it was  little odd that the CB would call on a Sunday, but I answered after 3 rings. A woman with a very thick accent....I could barely understand her.... said she needed to "verify" some information and asked if my address was xxxx Street.....which was a place where I'd lived 15 years ago!!! Then it clicked in my head that the 2010 Census would have the correct information, and I figured it was just another scam to get personal info. I said I wasn't interested and hung up.

They call 3 and 4 times a day. Cannot return call, number does not take calls. No one answers the phone if I do pick up. I see from everyone it is a scam, Census Bureau does mail surveys  and never asks for your personal info. I have taken the real surveys before.

Just want to confirm if this is legitimate

Received message on my answering machine from supposedly US Census Bureau.  Know they do not make phone calls.  Woman gave #4737 as her identification number.  Called back and spoke to a man who said it was concerning a survey.  I told him I will be calling the police.  Why am I getting a "survey" call on my unlisted phone number and on the "do not call" list.

This call is from a Census Bureau telephone interviewer site. check https://www.census.gov/npc/interviewer.html  and you will find the three numbers the Census Bureau calls people from.  

Said they were from the Social Security Office and gave me a case number and said for me to call back with that number.

Well....well....well - apparently the Census Bureau calls your home with lots of loud voices in the back ground - reads off one claim/report number.... changes it and asks for you to return the call as it urgent

PEOPLE - the Census Bureau does NOT call you at home / it will never sound like a call center in the background

Same thing re: Census bureau.  Haven't lived at address they had since 2003.  She wanted me to take a survey and give current address. Nope. Told  her census was  in 2010 and I don't give out info over phone and that she wasn't the US Census Bureau. Said yes she was and thank you and hung up/\
