I got the exact same call yesterday.  definitely not legit.

received a call from 555 555 5555, saying things about my bank acct.

So i just got this call from the number 555-555-5555. I was in the middle of class so i hung up. I am from Indiana.

Got this today as well.  Someone with a horrible grasp of the english language trying to get me to give out bank info.  I toyed with him for about an hour before he realized I was giving him a bunch of random numbers, and fake info.  Guess he got tired of wasting his time.  Hopefully my hour of fun kept some poor old lady from giving away her life savings.

My cell phone rang with that number on it.  I did not answer it, I figured it was a collection agency trying to get ahold of my mother's Godchild. What a nuisance!

Rec'd a call from 555-555-5555. They left a recorded msg indicating they were from a bank (not mine) and my debit card had been conpromised.  Press 1 to reactivate card or press 2 to speak with a security specialist. Ha!

I received a call twice in 3 days from this number and they left a msg on my voicemail.  It is an automated service telling me "there is something wrong with my debit card and to reactivate it please push 1" after a few seconds it hangs up.  Definitely a fraud call because I know for a fact that there is nothing wrong with my banking info.

this number 555-555-5555 called me and the caller id read "sales que" I didn't answer the phone and they didn't leave a message

At 8:25 pm, got a call from this #. Person, female, left a message saying that my credit
was stolen & I should call her back & she will connect me to her credit dept. I don't have time for this nonsense. Kooks!

I don't know who called with this number but they need to stop it

I've received to calls from this number . One at eight in the morning and again at midnight last night....i  have not answered either... Definitely very curious who this is.

I keep getting calls from a 555 555 5555 number on my cell I don't answer them because I'm afraid it will do something to my cell or account. I want them to stop calling me.

Got a call from this number tonight (in fact still on) as I had never seen anything like this.  Automated and something about my "card" has been locked.  Doesn't say which one (which is none).  So I keep pressing buttons and now it keeps asking me to enter my 16 digit card number.

Found this bogus number on my caller id when I got home today.

For referrence sake: Received my 1st call on my cell about an hour ago. i didn't answer and they left no msg. if this continues, I'm glad I have all un saved numbers on a silent ringtone.

I received a call from this number 555-555-5555.  When I answered I heard a recorded message telling me that my debit/MasterCard had been subject to identity theft and that my card and account was locked.  In order to unlock my card press 1.  I hung up immediately as I do not have a debit/MasterCard.  Apparently this number is able to call for mulitple reasons from all the previous listed posts.  But, please beware if you receive a call from this number or any number regarding your debit and/or credit cards as well as Bank Account.  Hang up and contact your Bank immediately.

Got a call from this number today. A mechanical recorded voice said that my HSBC Bank card had been locked. To unlock enter my card number.
OBVIOUS SCAM. Your bank will NEVER NEVER CALL you and ask you to input your card number. They don't need to.
I'm contacting Authorities as well as HSBC Bank about this.
