I got 7 calls all late at night with a creepy recording claiming to be the devil and it went on for like 20 seconds saying 666 then Hung up

I keep getting calls to my cell from 555-555-5555 - they leave no msg but take up msg space (ie: signals me that I have a msg). Who IS THIS and how do you get them to stop calling???

this number 555-555-5555 keeps calling me i havent answered it but they have called me more than 5 times

For the last 4 days I've been getting phone calls on my cell and my work phone numbers from 555-555-5555; 444-444-4444; 333-333-3333; they leave a message but don't say anything if I don't pick it up and if I do then automated male's voice says he's got an important message for- and mispronounce my name. What is this $#*%t and how do I stop it?

The Company making these calls masks the numbers with 330-333-1111, 555-555-5555, 012-345-6789, all with the Unknown Name on the CID. They ask you to press one for an "important business matter"; I Just hang up...

Indivdual (on the other end)stated he was with federal government, and if you are not (person's name), hang-up now. To which, I immediately hung-up.

It is 10:43 in the morning and I have gotten 6 calls from 555-555-5555.  I finally answered one and it was a pre-recorded message asking for my husband's aunt who has never lived here.  The voice on the recording sounded British.  However, in the past, I have answered calls from this number and it's been a recording in Spanish.  Who knows.  Maybe the phone company here in Utah can tell me something...

I've been receiving calls from 5555555555 about every twenty minutes, approximately 50 calls, for days. it's as if the caller has a machine that does it at preset times, ie: starting 8am, ending 11am, starting 5;30PM, ending 9PM.  I havent answered, and a message is never left on the machine.

The name came up as unknown and it was "Jim" as a disable golfer in MN.  It was a recording. He did not ask for money, but he can send me products that he and other disable golfers made.  I hung up even though I did not hear the rest of the recording.

I received 2 calls on my home phone from 1-555-555-5555 and wouldn't pick it up because I didn't recognize the number.  It just seemed quite weird to have such a strange phone no.  Then I received 3 calls on my cell phone; this is starting to scare me a little; how could they know both of these numbers.  They left no message. Weird as hell, and very annoying!!!! Can't someone do something about this.  I'm sure it's some sort of scam.  I called the number back and got information?? Weird again!  They said if I picked up accidently on this number to tell them NOTHING, not even my name, but I think they must know it, if they can call my home phone and my cell.

I keep getting calls from this # and no one is ever there but the person keeps calling almost daily.  I have a do not call registry, but when I try to put it on the list, she says there is no such number.
HELP  This has become more than aggravation and annoyance.

they called to me over 10times a day. i made a recall but they didn't receive anyone. and they recorded only shhhhhh sound in my voice mail. i'm very annoying and embrrasing.

Da call 5555555555 strted 3/28/2009 since over dozen times this annoying call continues.
when it first called it had a 915 area code it is west texas.

I received about 6 calls this number. I answered the last call and the automated voice said 'This is an important business call, please wait for the next available agent'. Then some guy answered the phone, he ask if I am the person they are calling for, I refuse to confirm nor deny his question, instead I ask him back who he is, what company he is representing, what is this important business all about, and what is their actual business phone number. He identified himself as Johnny, calling for ENCORE, and the content of this 'important' business will only be discussed with the person they are call for, and he refuses to state their business phone number. I insisted that he disclose the business number and disclose what this 'important' business is about before I make any confirmation about ID. I told him that unless he can supply me with the information I ask, he and his company cannot call me again. He threatens to keep calling, I told him I will file a complaint againsy ENCORE with the BBB, the PUC and other agancies that have jurisdiction. He just laugh. Well, guess we will see who will have the last laugh here.

555-555-5555 on caller id. Recorded voice left a message about products you can request. The first part of the call was cut off, but it appears some person/group soliciting money for a particular organization. I don't know where the call comes from. Also, the recorded male voice says "press 1 to leave your number or 8" to opt out of calls.

I am on the no call list and recenty I have received 2 or 3 of those 555-555-5555 calls.  How can you report them and to whom?

Been receiving 2 calls a day for weeks from this number.
Operator says it is a non existent number. Nobody ever answers when I pick or leaves any message when I let it go to voice mail.

She had Republican Dominican accent. She asked for the manager and of course I said he is not available. And she said ok I call later. I try *69 and then the 555... #.

this is a business so when I ask for information as to who and where can we call back , take a message  the answer is always we will call back
3 days of relentless calls

i keep getting these calls from 555 555 5555 n when i answer nothing is said...they never leave a message n call seriously all the time...i also got a call from 333 333 3333...someone told me they might be someone calling me from a calling card...i dont know who it is because they have been calling my cell phone which i don't give to anyone besides my friends. i have a house phone number to give to businesses and such...honestly, i wish i could have a tracker thing on my phone n find where it's coming from! and find whoever it is!
