I got a call from this number this morning....the young man said, "Hi Grandma.  It's me, your grandson."
I told him we don't have any grandchildren and hung up!  This is a typical scam played on older people.  Had I stayed on the phone, he most likely would have told me he was in jail/being evicted/etc to get $$ from old grandma.

Claimed it was my grandson and he had a broken nose due to a car accident.  He wanted me to call his attorney to pay bail for him

Caller said he was our grandson... scam call. We don't have a grandson with this accent. Told him he was a scammer and the call dropped.

Call twice at 2:30 am. Very annoying. Computer voice left message.

received a call 5/21/2019.  Called asked how I was doing?  I asked who's calling.  Called replied my grandson.
I laughed and hung up.

they called but no one said anything

Unknown number. I blocked it and will not answer any unknowns as they are probably scam artists out to exploit people.

Received a recording advising of a traffic disruption in Washington DC.

Similar, I ask for his name and he said "Michael", then I asked for a last name and he hanged up.

When I picked up the phone all they said was good bye.

555-555-5555 is a non working number that keeps calling my phone and now there is a $49.95 Charge saying HMFP GROUP on my CC.  I have never given my CC number over the phone to this person, never talked to them. Never authorized this transaction.  NOW HAVE TO HAVE MY ATM CLOSED AND A NEW ONE REISSUED.  This is Second time my ATM has been compromised at Chase. What kind of security does this bank have?

Why did they have to close the ATM because your card was compromised?  What does Chase's ATM have to do with your credit card?

The number is an unreachable and obvious spoof.
