    Received an online bill from my health clinic. Says any questions call 555-555-5555. Didn’t notice the phone number until I’d paid it with my credit card. Hope it wasn’t a scam bill.

    You have been scammed. Call your clinic and I think you will see you don't owe money and they did not receive a payment. Call your CC company/bank and let them know.

    Read prior posts. The number is associated with all kinds of scams and useless calls. The first red flag is this is a number that you can't call back, at least if you are North America.
