Same thing -- call to my cell phone -- no one there when I answered, then it hung up on me.

Just got a call - 10:25am est. Didn't pick up, but now I can see it doesn't much matter. Haha.

Call was a PHONE SEX SOLICITATION made to my CELL PHONE.

Initial message was from Kathy offering credit card consolidation at 1-800-706-6200.  Call to 1-800-706-6200 to have my number removed directed me to 1-800-515-2500.  This number asked for my credit card number to have me connected for phone sex.

I get a call from this numnber on a monthly basis, if you answer it, it hangs up, if you don't it leaves a voicemail message to call Cathy on 800-706-6208. Seems there are thousands of the same kind of scam call - it's not even from the Financial Freedom folks who are already listed in the "Rip-Off" report.

Financial Freedom of America only advertises through radio, television and billboards. We have never, nor will we ever, use outbound advertising methods such as telemarketing with an auto dialer.

We have already filed a complaint on our behalf with the Federal Trade Commission (complaint # 21093301), and we are working with the Texas Attorney General's Office in a proactive approach to prosecute the individual or individuals behind this scam to the fullest extent of the law.

We have been successful in tracing the ownership of the phone number to a company located in Carlsbad, CA, but unfortunately, at this time we can not reveal the company's name for legal reasons. As soon as we have a resolution to this problem, we will post an update. Thanks in advance for your understanding in this frustrating situation for all of us.

I just got the same call 9:25 am on 3/26/2009 why they call they hung up as soon as I said hello

Received this call at 9:33am today. Left message saying, "hi this is Kathy with Financial Freedom. You have may already received our letter stating that you can consolidate your credit cards to a low APR of 1.5%.........You can reach me at (800) 706-6208"

they hung up when i answered...

i get these calls all the time how do i make it stop...
