Yeh, these dopes have been calling my work line for the past few days.   They are interrupting my business and will be sued if they continue.  As far as teh dopes who work in telemarketing, go get a real job!  I have no mercy for telemarketers, most lawyers and car salesmen!

Oh these are the renewal folks for free trade rag subscriptions.....they like to requailify everyone about 3-6 months.....I saw eweek in one post....they generally ask questions for marketing purposes so they can get advertisers to pay them for your / my mag subscription.....these folks are a pain, BUT I requested the subscription....These are not the EVIL people that call me about the car warrenty vehicle scam......who never stop calling.
Answer the phone, ask them to quit calling and they will.

I subscribe to several free magazines, and get the renewal calls often. 90% of the time I say "this is not a good time" and they politely hang up. 10% of the time I go through the question and answer routine. Most of the calls in the last few years have been understanding that my time is valuable,and appreciate that I take the time to answer.

My business and personal fortunes depend on staying up to date with technology. I do not have a giant corporation to pay for boondoggle trips to trade show or days off in "training". I work hard for my money, and respect other who are doing the same, even the laywers... and those who make there living on the phone.

Too bad I have to give it away now to help those who overextended themselves, in the name of a "bailout".

This time they sent a text message saying I have a voicemail from this number. And the text message was from me! This is totally ridiculous!

THIS NUMBER OCCASIONALLY CALLS. DON'T KNOW WHY.

I do not know who this is, and based on everyone's comments, I am going to ignore them.

enough of the BS do not call me I don't have anything to do with you and if your worked there sorry but you are annoying and wasting minutes on my phone as well as my time, pick yourself up and do better, don't take on low life jobs bothering 90% of the population.  I was unemployed and I now work with helping US Troops and involved with rock music.  There are opps out there where you do not need to bother others and offer them opportunities as well as get paid.  I will report you people enough of the BS, if this continues.  WAKE UP CALL

It's Lester, Inc.  They call on behalf of their clients. They are a telemarketing firm it seems.  Just an FYI

Let me state for the record, that yes they say they are not soliciting calls because they are giving away a service. HOWEVER, think about this for a moment.  They want you to update "your information".  We really don't know what is being done behind the scenes with our information.  I have and "ex" who stalked me for years and found me because of "'updated listings", I am not about to even risk that happening again.  And what about selling that list?  We have no idea or assurance this won't happen. Don't do it!

When I answered the phone at work and said my name, the guy said--oh is this (my name)? I said yes, then he hung up. If this company wants people to do their jobs, they should probably be monitoring them to insure that they're actually trying to speak to people, and not just dialing, hanging up, and getting paid hourly for it.

Called my work # several times; does not leave message. Causing me problems.

Rang my work phone but left no voice message.  It sounded like a radio in the background.

Just picked up when they called. I heard the telemarketer having a conversation about how he "hates working his job etc." then he realized I heard him and hung up on me. Nice.

It hasn't helped stop this annoyance yet. I just got a hang-up call from the same Kentucky number.

I spoken to them before and told them to call back at another time.  I remember signing up for this last year for a web subscription.  They just want to update your mailing address so you get the magazines.

I am on dnc registry and they aren't violating anything. YOU SIGNED UP for it.  If you want out, you should call and tell them so.   They hang up after x rings I think cause they don't want to bother you if you're busy.

Got a call from this number, hung up before I could answer it, no voicemail left.

That was your phone service carrier sending you the notification that you had a missed/no ring call. You probably had no service at the time they called, so they left you a message since it would have gone straight to voicemail on their end.
