I got the call and pressed 9 to get a live person...she asked if i was calling about the reduced interest rate, and I said no, I want to know why you keep calling! Then she hung up on me. I've blocked the number from getting through again.

Firstly....our number is on the National Do Not Call Registry .... and I did NOT solicit any credit card information from ANYONE.

This call comes in and says "You may be eligible to lower your credit card interest rate to 6.9%.   Please press 9 to speak to a live operator.

What do they think I was born last night?????

Call appearing to be from 610-404-3141. Of course, that's not a working number; the scammers are spoofing caller-id.  Call says, "Cardholder services...  You are eligible to reduce your interest rates on credit card, press 9 to talk to a live operator."  This is a fraud.

These idiots stopped for a while but they have started up again with another number.

PLEASE EVERYONE!!! Press 9 and talk to a real person. Keep them on the line as long as possible. These jerks have to pay people to talk to you and the more it costs them the sooner they will stop calling people. Besides, they might figure out after the 10th or 20th call that you are just wasting their time and they might not call you again. Just don't be surprised if they aren't that smart.

Our call intercept service blocked the call the first time, but they unblocked their number, called back and got our voice mail.  Long message about reducing interest rate, similar to other reports.

I have guns i find the loopsers and we will rid of them.

An automated "caller" asks if I would like to speak to an operator to lower my current credit card's interest rate; to please press '9' now. It's a scam, because I do not own any credit cards. I pressed 9 and an operator picked up, asked me the question(as mentioned above), I told her no and the phone clicked/hung up. This scam has called me several times. I have Caller I.D. & tried to call the number, and I receive nothing except a busy signal. I am on the Do Not Call registry, and have a private number, yet this call still goes through.

I received an automated call today from the same number.  An automated voice said this was my last chance.  I pressed 9 to speak to a person to get my name removed from their call list but no one picked up.  i dailed back only to receive a busy signal.  I have reported it and will alert the media also.

First landline rang several times then mobile line rang once or twice

I just got a call today  (this is the 2nd time receiving the call in a month) I am on the do not call list and I just put through a report. It seems I am not the only one reporting it. If we are all reporting it, why isn't it doing any good?

they are calling at least 4 times a day up until 9 930 at night somtimes and even on sundays

Called at 1:29 pm 01-20-2010. My callmenot.com device blocked the call and caller did not ring through, so no more info received (which is why the $50 I paid for this device is the best $50 I've ever invested). Interesting scam, per info posted here.

If anybody manages to find out where these b@$terds call home, I'd be for mounting up a posse and paying them a visit.  I'll bring some rope.

I just got a call FROM 610-404-3141 1/25/2010 about 11:45 am.  When I googled the number, I got this page.

Immediately after reading this page, I filed an online complaint with the FCC about a dead air phone call.  When I picked up the phone, no one said anything.

I received a call from 610-404-3141; When I responded "Please take this name and number off your list", he responded with extreme vulgar language, and then what appeared to be a supervisor joined the conversation, he became even more vulgar with threats of hunting me down and performing various sex acts.  I hung up.

Did not answer phone. Got recorded message about lowering my credit card interest rates. Will file complaint. Glad I didn't answer the call based on the posts from everyone else.

I have received calls from this number  dozens of times both at home and at work. I have dialed 9 to ask them who they represent and tell them to take me off their call list. They hang up. The calls continue to come in.
