caller ID was from Birdsboro, PA.  no message left on my answering machine

I got the same call saying they wanted to lower my credit card interest and when I ask which card they hung up.
SCAM!!!!!

Had a several calls from them. Blocked them on one phone this morning and they called a second line this afternoon. Will block them on that line as well :-)

Received a call from 610-404-3141 and was left a message telling me to reduce my interest rate to 9%...blah blah blah and this is the final chance to do so.  Press 9...  Since this was a recording calling me and was left on my voicemail, needless to say, I didn't call them back.  I googled I found all of you who have had the same type call.  Definitely scam-ish if you ask me.

Recorded message about lowering my credit card rate - I don't have any cards.  Where do these people get our numbers, or are they random computer-generated numbers?

Just spent 10 years in upstate NY - no calls like this.  As soon as I returned to Baltimore they started.  Changed my number, got Do Not Call and now have Call Block from Verizon.  Never stops....

I too received a call from this group.  When I asked her "What would make me believe that you aren't part of the so-called Nigerian scam artists" she said I was a stupid f*cking b*tch and hung up on me.  Reported call to local authorities and filed complaint with the no-call list.

Number (610-404-3141) appeard on both number and name of Caller ID.  Pressed 9 as directed.  Asked that they quit calling me and she immediately hung up on me.

Reported via Do Not Call form to FCC.

got a call from "card services" 610 404 3141 asking for my credit cards numbers.  i called the number back and it referred me to 218 862 6262, a conference call company

the 610 number is a spoofing number, the call ID is nt the real number".  the term card services is used by most banks and credit card companies to service their "real" customers.

DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THESE THIEFS!!

Didn't bother answering since I'm in CA and don't know anyone in Birdsboro, PA.  Figured if it was really for me, they'd leave a message.  They didn't.  I'm also on the Do Not Call Registry.

Rec'd call from "Pennsylvania 6104043141". Recorded message with same lower interest rate offer other received - from "Card Services".  Pressed 9 so I could have a discussion with them...not because I was interested.  Got message that no customer service person was available and was disconnected.  I, too, wanted to know who was calling so I could complain.  Called number back and got recording that the number had been changed to 218-862-6262 which is some kind of chat service...www.uncensoredpartylines.com.

Note - I will be reporting this scam.  I only included that website to warn people.   These people need to be stopped.

Got a call this morning from the same number and showing "Pennsylvania" on the caller ID, but they did not leave a message.

I think the person that read them erroneous numbers has the right idea; keep them on the line and waste their time....start rambling on about something and have some fun with them at their own expense.

I received an automated phone call on 3-3-10 from 6104043141. When I pressed 9 to speak to a representative I ask the person for her name and ID# and she ask me “For what?” I told her I needed it for security purposes she again ask me for what and then I said I received this phone call form you about lowering my credit card interest rate and I wanted her ID# and name for security purposes. She ask me again for what and I replied to turn them into the BBB and she hung up. I

called claiming to be from Citizens bank doing a internal investigation. called my senier citizen mother asking to confirm bank account numbers  and stateing she should accept a package the following day .when I called the no. on my caller id  I was told the no. had been changed to 218-816-6262 when I called that no.was told the buissines was closed for the day.

Got (another) call from 610-404-3141.  Similar to others.  Push 5 to lower my rates.  When the mail answered, I started to tell him to not call again, and was on the 'do not call' list.  He promptly hung up.  This harassment happens about once a week.  Definitely not someone to do business with.  Possibly phishing for credit card numbers.  Wish the government had some teeth in the 'do not call' list and did something to prosecute the violators.  I assume some elderly fall for their scam.

This is a scam.  They want you to give them your credit card number.  Never give your credit card number to someone who calls you.
