CALLS ABOUT 3 TIMES A WEEK i DO NOT ANSWER SEE # ON CALLER id

I have received this phone call at least five times.  I found out from my credit card company that these people are trying to get peoples identity.  Do not give them any information.  I have spoken to a supervisor to be removed and was not.  This last time the people cussed at me and called me awful things.

I was called twice today.....the number listed for this comment/complaint thread. The OTHER number is 516-881-1634. Credit Card Services identified as the 'entity' that was calling to assist in reducing interest rates.
610-404-3141 called, I pressed 9, and after 20 rings, the 'MENTAL MOLEHILL' at the other end,answered the phone, then wanted to get going with my entire credit card collection and all pertinant information. I read him erroneous numbers, security codes, credit limits.....then I said...."WHAT A HALF BAKED SCAM!" Before this BIRTH DEFECT could get the phone hung up, I could hear him say, GEEEZ, they're on to us....click. The next clicks I want to hear are the bullets being placed into the chamber prior to ventilating their foreheads.

Call came in on February 8th at 5:40pm.  I have caller ID - said fom Birdsboro, PA.  Tried calling back later and only got a rapid sounding busy signal.

Just filed a similar complaint @ DoNotCall.gov..When I told the telemarketer I was not interested,he said "So what".Told him I was on the No-call list & not to call back; he said "f*** the No-call list" & hung up.

ERRRRR they just called my home number in colorado .I'm happy I didnt pick up the phone.

I pressed 9 and spoke with a rude gentelement who told me to fu?? off when I told him I was on the do not call list and was sick of their calls 5 times a day. Why can't these people be put in jail.

I received a call from this number. An automatic message asked if I wanted to reduce my credit card rate to press 9. I asked my husband to pick up the phone. Then there was a disconnect. I then googled the number and determined it was a scam.  These scams are happening more and more frequently from different callers.

Press "9" and then put your phone down without hanging up.  Only way to punish these fools for calling us is to tie up their infrastructure.

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER AN AUTOMATED RECORDING CLAIMING TO BE CARD HOLDER SERVICES TOLD ME ITS MY LAST CHANCE TO REDUCE MY INTEREST RATE. AND TOLD ME TO PRESS 9 TO FIND OUT HOW TO REDUCE IT. I HUNG UP BECAUSE I HAVE NO CREDIT CARDS. ONLY MY DEBIT AND IT SAYED THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY CREDIT CARD AT THIS TIME.

They hung up on me when I began to ask questions.

At first you get this recording that states we can reduce your interest rate and when you select to hold you get this man whom ever he is and i asked him who was he trying to reach and he would not respond then he said we are trying to reduce your interest rates and i asked again who he was and who was he trying to reach and he promptly hung up i am so sick and tired of these damn people as this is not the only call i have received similar to this i am on the do not call list for all my phone numbers to include home and cell i still get calls but you can't figure out who these people are to do anything about it what recourse do normal folks like us have

Reporting these calls as a Do Not Call List violation will not work, because they are spoofing the phone numbers.  They have software that creates a fake caller id #.  Call your senators and representatives and ask what they are doing to make call spoofing illegal!!

The DO NOT CALL LIST works just fine.  LEGITIMATE companies won't call numbers on the list.  So when you're on the DO NOT CALL LIST and you get call from a telemarketer, what does that tell you about THEM?

Apparently Do Not Call list does not apply to these scammers?

Just got the call from this number once again. First time dead air. Second time I pressed "9" and Nikki got on the phone. I could hear a guys yelling at a screaming kid in the background. I bluntly said take my number off the list and she hung up.

A phone call from this number wanted me to press 9 to get more information about interest rates for my credit card.

Same here.  Several calls, over the months. An obvious scam, but I'm on, and have been on since inception, the do not call list....I report to them as well, but they do nothing.

I too rec'd this call, pressed 9 and the women on the other end "dropped" the phone, started laughing hysterically and hung up on me. Is this really JP Morgan Chase? If so, I'm calling their customer service to complain.
