I got a call from this number today. I am also on the do not call list. Thanks to the link above I filed a complaint about it to the FCC. Hard a partial message on my answering machine about lowering my credit card interest rate. Glad I did not answer the phone when this number came in.

I didn't answer this call, but an automated message was left about lowing interest rates.  I would like to not receive so many junk calls, and do not need my interest lowered.

why hasn't the penn state attorney arrested these folks yet?

complaint filed FTC.

Received several calls through Privacy Director, Identified themselves as "Progress Financial...", hung up the first time, ignored second time, and rejected call 3rd time.  I am on "Do Not Call" list and will also file a complaint with Government.

No message left.  Didn't pick up because I didn't recognize the phone # and the Caller ID said "Unavailable."  Can't be legit.  Yes, this number is on DoNotCall.

The same nasty trick, posing as a lender offering to lower my interest rate.  (What interest rate?  They certainly don't know.)

This number just called me asking me to press 9 to lower my interest rate.

My experience is consistent with other posters.  I have filed a complaint.  Does anyone know what the process is that the FCC follows to end these type of calls?  Do they follow-up at all?

Just received a call from 610-404-3141 and the girl told me that I could reduce my credit card interest.  I asked which card and she told me what account.  Asked me for my mailing address.  She had my name already.   Asked me to hold for a second and finally was disconnected from the call.   Called the number back and it was disconnected.   Would not have given more than my address to them anyway.

This number has called me several times. Person on other end is rude and will not identify self.

this number has called me atleast ten times. Finally I called back and it said number was disconnected,  but they still called me again from that number.  me not happy!!!!

6/23/10 12:46 Missed a call from this number on my cell.  Tried calling it back from my landline, and got a message that the number was no longer in service or had been disconnected. Then how did I just get a call from it?!
