Con Artist Scammers.. I haven't used a credit card in years, yet they want to help me, by lowing my interest rate..   Ha Ha.

telemarketer? called them right back but got a no longer in service recording. and yes, we are on the no-call list

my number is on the do not call list,but as i have been reading all around the web this company dont care,and they just wont quit calling,thank god for time warner cables phone service,you just block their butts(from your computer)and just laugh,after all we pay for are land lines not the jerks who wont quit calling:)

Big time scammers, have numbers with area codes all over the country.  DO NOT ANSWER OR PRESS 9 to be taken off their list.   It tells them it is a valis number and you'll get more calls from them.

I received a call from this number at 12:47 on 4.11.13. The number they called is on the Do Not Call Registry & when I started to question the representative she immediately hung up.
Interesting note, the recorded message actually stated the call was related to the "Stimulus".  
On my caller ID the company name came up as LOWER INTEREST

No company name on caller ID, but the recorded message was very familiar:  my "second and final" opportunity to do something about my credit cards.  It is always the second and final opportunity with these guys.  

I usually hang up quickly, but this time I hit 1 to speak to a rep.  A seemingly live person said:  Thank you for holding.  So, would you like to learn more.  I said:  No, so please put this number on your do not call list.

Just after I said "no," the line went dead.  I was miffed, but not at all surprised.

This is completely erroneous number. These people are a sham.

This is a lower your interest ROBO CALL scam even though I am also on the do not call list

Just got a call from this number, CID shows "Lower Interest". It was a recorded message with an option to speak to a live rep (which I did not do). Credit card rate reduction scammers.

I received a call from the 616-613-2220 number...left no message and when I tried to call it back, it did not ring.

Pushed "1" and got a very nice man who explained he could reduce my credit card rates to nearly nothing!
Soooo.... I played along. Whatever he asked me, I told him.  [  Except I made everything up! ;)  ]

He already knew my 1st and Last Names, my Full Street Address including the City & State and asked me to confirm my Zip Code.  Then he asked me what kind of interest rate I had presently, I told him 19.8%. Then I was asked the balance of the Credit Card, which I said was $31,400. He then asked me the expiration date on my card which I said was 04/16.  Then I told him, as he requested, that it was a MasterCard. I was then asked to "confirm" the 16 digit Card Number, which I made up completely up.

Within 15-20 seconds he stated that I my Card Number didn't "Verify" and could I read the number to him again slowly, "in case he made a mistake" !!!!     I said, "Oh! I've got to turn off the stove! Something is Burning!!!"  I put him on hold for 30+seconds and picked up. He was still there, still wanting me to repeat the Card Number. So, I told him the 1st 4 Digits again and then said, "OH MY GOD!  My kitchen is on FIRE! ... I HAVE to GO!!!" and hung up!

Needless to say, if I had given him a real Credit Card Number, that it would have been maxed out in the next hour or less!

Typical government efficiency!  I'm on the "DO NOT CALL" list, why are you calling??? I have pushed the "we'll take you off our list" button numerous times. Wow, surprise surprise they call anyway!
Just stop it!

I keep getting the same call every couple of days, my machine picks up and I only catch the end of their message that this is my last chance in regards to a stimulus something. I was at my grandparents yesterday and when I answered the phone. I heard the exact same message, so I pressed 1 to tell them to take me off their list and when the lady came on and I kindly asked to be removed she said "WHAAAAT"  and then I repeated it and she told me I had dialed the wrong # and hung up on me. LOL They are scammers. They also called my parents home and when she told them to remove her the male, said very rude and sexually explicit remarks to her. All 3 #'s are on the DO NOT CALL list! They need to be held accountable.

They or someone from this company, have been calling me for at least 5 years.  Have never even tried to do business with them. Don't wish to..

I have a fax machine plugged into my home phone, when it rings if I don't recongnize the number the fax machine picks up after 3 rings.  Soon the calls stop until your number is given to someone else.  The worse thing you can do is answer it / but if you do answer the call by mistake and they ask for you by name always answer sorry you must have the wrong number and then look it up online.  If the number doesn't look like someone you do business with then don't return the call.

I know someone who fell for a scam like this and was out $500 plus.

These idiots call all the time.Caller ID always says something about card services.I'm also on the so called Do Not Call List.That is such a joke.All they do is ignore it.

How do you get these people to STOP calling?

credit card services, wanted to lower my credit cards...funny thing is, I DON'T own any credit cards. what use is the do not call list anyway??
