These people keep calling me, at mealtime and even on Sunday even though I have blocked these calls before

Same here!  finally pressed "1" to speak to someone.  Told her I was going to report the number for not taking us off the list, I was tired  of the phone calls.  She asked me how old I was....I asked why and she proceeded to call me "trailer trash!"  If only I could report HER!!

Called 2 times so far today. Am sick of telemarketers. Family member sick and this just adds to stress.

Bastardos!!!  Obama promised during his first campaign that he would put a stop to these nuisance calls.  Just one more in his long list of lies to get votes.

This unwanted call came to an obscure post in Montana manned by two senior citizens with occasional small visitors.  Small visitors have been advised not to answer the phone because it may be a BAD PERSON who intends ill will toward them.  

We don't want any more calls from this number.  It's an area code we don't recognize, and the above warnings from other victims are very edifying.

Why don't DO NOT CALL lists work any more?

another angle...they have websites that want a fee to block callers....the websites are crappy...they are probably making websites...then you pay 99 cents to find who it is. Get it.

Lies, Lies, Lies..  Have just received another "This Is Your Final Notice" How many final notices does it take before they stop harrassing.. Sheezsh!

Only when people show up on his door step and confront this vermin will the abuse stop.

Thanks Bob for going to the trouble to find out more about the origins of the number.  I've been getting a lot of weird activity from the Michigan area, especially.

For a second time I actually pressed 1 to accept because there was no automated option to stop the calls which I thought was required by law.  I figured if I got a person I could tell them to stop calling or I would report them.  They hung up as soon as it was clear I wasn't biting.  Today I simply said "Before I start discussing my personal financial information with you, what is your name?" No response, repeat, he hung up for a second time.  How do people fall for this and how do I get them to stop calling my home phone?!!

I let the call go to the answering system.  While it doesn't come out and identify the caller, the recorded message tells me that this is my final notice as it relates to the federal stimulus.  Final notice?  I've gotten quite of few of these Final notice calls.  It's been a while though.  I still don't answer the call.
