This number showed up on my cell phone at 7:18PM pacific time. They left a message asking me to press one to confirm the order, press 2 for something else and press 3 to be placed on their company's do not call list. The call is coming from Grand Rapids, MI. Can the techie police there call them and find out or just go to the phone company. It looks like from all other comments that it is inside the phone company itself.

One more thing. I did make an online order, but had already received the item. Who can we call to notify them that this is a serious problem all over the country.

Hung up when I answered. Leaves no voice mail.

Today is the first time this tel. nbr has called me...when I answered no one said anything.  Thanks for all who have taken time to complain...it keeps us alert to these crooks.

Same number continually calls me and the first time I answered the girl was explaining the 100.00 gift card and I said I didn't want it please take me off your list. She said you're telling me you don't want a free one hundred dollars! Yes madam I am saying I do not want a hundred dollars and I would like you to take my number off your list. She said there is no list I just won. I explained that clearly she is calling from an institution if she is distributing goods. She flat out told me no that I don't know what I'm talking about. This is incredibly rude and annoying. Since that call I have received 6 calls early in the morning and late in the evening, therefore waking me from sleep. Arg!

I received a call today and this number is linked to 5179332030. I told the man to stop calling me and he said, "Ha". I just filed a complaint with the FTC, but nothing will be done I'm sure.

Plain and simple.  These folks are crooks.  They called me on my cell phone telling me I had been selected to receive $120 in gasoline vouchers if I'd only pay shipping of $2.95.  Once I received my vouchers there would be other discount information that I would receive monthly for only $29.95/month.  She then asked me if I was the cardholder for a particular VISA card.  She read the last four of the card and I immediately recognized the card as one I'd cancelled last year because of a scam.  She said her company was VISA Financial Services.  I've gone to the FCC website and filed a complaint.

They have called twice today. First time they did not leave a message. Second time they called, I answered and they confirmed my name and then call was lost. They did not try to call back. This is a SCAM, do not give out your credit card number to them or believe for a second you have "won" anything, simply don't answer. I am also on the "do not call" registry, I guess complaining to the BBB is the next step?

got two calls from them tonight and another from an unknown caller.  I haven't called back, thought i would google the number... then found all of these comments.  what should i do?

I have not received another call from them since my last comment.  When I dialed the number back through their automated system there is an option to have them not call you again.  So far it seems to work!

Just got hung up on by a lady at this number. After telling her that I do not live in CA and never have then asked how she got my name and number attached to a CA address, as I have never lived in CA, she promptly hung up. Just got off the phone with my fraud dept. at the bank. He gave me some info that I never new about when getting on line with bank info.  
1. Never place your bank web page in your favorites. By doing this you don't get the updated security that they change all the time.
2. When doing any kind of banking or transaction on line make sure you always type in www. then the name of the company.  If you use a search engen you open up yourself to skimmers that can rought  you through their server before you get to the page you want and then they get all your info when you place the order.
3. Clear out your Favorites!
4. Clear out your cookies!
5. Clear out your browser history
6. Do a full system scan!
7. Call your bank and get a new Debit or CC ASAP!

I was just called by 616-980-1151.  They had called and left a message on my cell and then went to voicemail where the message said something to the effect that they were calling to confirm some order.  I didn't call back, but my cell just rang about 10 m ins ago and I answered and a man told me I would be sent a check for $120 and I just said no thank you and then I asked if he was with VISA and he said he was with VISTA Financial !!  I told him no thank you and he hung up on me.

They called me 5 times today, and i got that same stuff about order confirmation, but when i answered they hung up.

Called four times today.  Picked up on third time, but got dead air.  Picked up forth time and won a $120 gas gift card from "Vista".  They had the last four digits to my bank card and wanted more information.  I said no, they hung up.  Filed a complaint with the FCC.  Little good that will do.  I have more faith in websites like this.

DO NOT GIVE INFO. This is a scam and they will rob you. Don't trust a stranger over the phone that claims to know info. If they do have your info., anyone can easily get that same info. by doing a little research online. Don't trust something you do not know!

Feb. 27, 2010 11:59A Caller ID: INTERNET ORDERS. Latest of 3 calls. No messages left. My standard practice is to answer only those calls with a Caller ID familiar to me. The remainder go to voice mail; however, most do not leave messages. The exceptions are fragments of machine calls and legitimate calls in which I am interested.

I have received 2-3 calls from this number, and like all the posts I have read, they don't leave a message.  I will not answer their calls as it seems they are fraudulent, but how can we get them to stop calling?!!!

I like everyone else have recieved calls for the past few days and I finally answered today and the first the first thing the guy said was that they have not charged my card. Then he said I won a gas card from a company I paid with my credit card online. I told him to not charge me anything and I did not want anything and he laughed and said do not worry I told him again I did not want anything and if they kept calling I will get my lawyer involved and he said thank you and hung up. I did cancel that card and will be receiving a new card soon. This is ridiculous that we have to live this way where we can not even trust to buy something online without having it sold to someone else. It is [***].
