Same experience with me:  This lady called and said I had placed some orders on the internet with their "marketing partners" and even gave me the last four digits of my credit card so I thought it was legit. She gave me a long pitch about a free $120 gas voucher with some coupons if I only pay $2.95 for shipping and it would come with coupons for some programs.  When I asked her if I would have to call back and cancel if I don't want to pay the subsequent $29.95/month for those programs she said yes....so, I told her politely "I think I will pass at this time" and she just hung up right away! Very weird.  And now I looked up their number and see all of these comments.....definitely a scam.

This number has called me almost a dozen times.  I finally picked just to find out I had made an internet purchase that qualified me for $120 in gas rebates.  All I needed was to pay 2.95 for shipping.  They already new the last 4 digits of my credit card. Scary.  I asked what company they were with and were I make this purchase to qualify me.....No answer for either.   They were also going to send me info on some discount service with a free trial period.  They said I could keep the gas rebates no matter what and that in 30 days if I didn't call them and cancel the discount service BS I would be automaticly enrolled into the program.  I then asked if i was going to be charged for that and she said no.  She kept talking and I asked again if I was going to be into a automatic renewal program and she again said no.  But after another minute or so of her talking she said very quickly that i would be charged 24.99 a month if I didn't call and cancel the Discount service program.  Thats when I hung up.  And they just called again this morning.  Someone needs to arrest these scammers

They've called me four or five times over the past few days. It's really annoying. The first time I called, they said, since I used a Visa, I was chosen to recieve...and I hung up on them. They keep calling back. This is my cell phone number. I don't really give that out. I called them back once, only to hear a message about an order confirmation. They never leave a voicemail, and I keep avoiding their calls. They started on my house phone, then moved to my cell phone. I haven't seen anything pop up YET on my statement, but that's not saying they won't.

I got the same phone call (free gas cards, etc.)... they wouldn't give me a straight answer on anything.  I want them to call back so I can give them a piece of my mind!!  I am going to notify my credit card company  and the FCC and suggest you all do the same!

I've got several calls from this number over a period of days!  I called them back and got an automated message about an order I've placed.   I haven't placed any order so it's obviously a scam or a marketing effort that I don't want anything to do with.  If you listen to the automated message, supposedly if you press number 2, it will eliminate your phone number from their calling list.  We'll see!

I also called Lucer Phone Company at 6163610128.  Lucer is the small, regional phone provider that provides the 1151 scam phone number.  I spoke with a person who identified himself as a manager.  I complained about this number.  He said they'd been getting lots of complaint calls about this number and would take action.  He also volunteered to called the 1151 account owner and tell them to stop calling me.

Every time you get a scam phone call from 1151, call Lucer and complain about it.  Eventually they will get tired and might take action.

Called me with the same scam..free gas, $2.95 shipping cost,$ 29.95 a month..blah....told them NO and they got mad and hung up!..I still stopped my card and will get a new one..people will do anything to screw someone over!....

I got a call today as well. Not sure who this company is and WHY i am being called since i dont recall placing an order.

I started to receive calls from this number this week also non stop. No voicemail, nothing. 616 980 1151. How do we get them to stop? Maybe a vlass action suit?

I got a call from this number.  I first received a call from this number a few weeks ago.  The contacted me and tried to tell me I received a free $100 gas card and all I had to do was speak to someone from their "mailing department" and verify my address and they would be able to mail me my free gas card.  After that, every month, I would received hundreds of dollars of free gas cards and all i would have to pay is $29.95/month to continue with the service.  I asked them how they got my number and they said the "privacy issues" prevented them from revealing who i was  a "preferred" customer of.  

The ONLY thing I had purchased in months with THAT card was a "wonder file" I had ordered for school.  The debit card was my college account (and the wonderfile is a rip off by the way and I couldn't recall the transaction because of the way the "order process" was set up).  I asked them if this was related to my wonder file order (which took 6-8 weeks to receive from date of order).  Again, she indicated that "privacy prevented" and could she just get me over to the shipping department.  In the end I said I was not comfortable with the call and was not interested in anything free, and hung up.

Today, they called again.  I put a block on the phone number.

They called me 6x yesterday, while I was teaching and taking my French competency exam.  I was pissed because A) I don't know who they are and B) most people who know me know they better not call me while I am teaching.  I only ordered one thing in the past few weeks from a company that I do not usually use, Herman Street, a software company, so if anyone sold my info, it had to be them.  They've already called me 2x more this morning, and they sure as heck better hope that I don't actually get a chance to pick up the phone call.  Waiting to see...

They have called me 4 times a day for the last 3 days. This time I answered to find out who it was and it was from Vista services promising me free gas card discounts.  I was about to tell them that I am not interested and to not call me agian or I will report them to the FCC, my cell phone company, and the state attorney general.  Instead, my cell phone automatically disconnected them and asked if I would like to save or block future calls.  I will watch my credit cards for transactions just in case they try something.  I am also on the do not call list for my home and cell phone so I might call the credit card companies I deal with and start questioning them on who they are sharing my information with?

Same story as everyone else.... Received the phone call and the chick was a fast talker.  Asked her to hold so I could verify the information and she hung up.

I had two missed calls from this number on my cell and when I called back - got recording saying they were trying to confirm my order.  I never ordered anything and was curious so the next day when they called I answered and they said I won a $100 gas card because I used my VISA card recently and then they asked if I still resided in my town.  Freaked me out that someone knew where I lived when calling my cell!  I told them that I don't have a VISA and not to call me again.
It may just be a coincidence but I just signed up for LinkedIn they day before and I believe my cell number is on there......

Got a call from this company saying I won a $100.00 gift card for gas since I was a preferred card holder and I would be charged 1.95 to get the gift card.  I started questioning this person and they started getting defensive.  I told them I wasn't interested and they hung up.
