- concerned replies to Former Geico EmployeeThey keep call me. I don't owe any debt. What do I do?
- FredMany company’s sell old unpaid debts to collection agency’s for penny’s on the dollar. Those collection agencies then try to collect.
Someone could have used your name and number or just your phone number to avoid being called.- Caller: Various names
- Call type: Debt collector
- sld2011Just got a call from this number, person named Michelle Simmons from CCS. Wouldn't give me any information about why she was calling.

- AnnoyedKeeps calling my cell over and over. Started around the time my FB was hacked and when some stranger opened their 4th FB profile using my work email, which is getting flooded w strange notifications. Idk if that has anything to do with CCSOFFICES.COM. I don't answer unkown calllers. My insurance is current. I'm removing my # from FB, if not deleting my account. I'll block CCS, but is this even legal of them?? Kinda getting tired of having no privacy or security
- Caller: CCSOFFICES.COM
- Forgetful Frank replies to TerriTypesMine was on behalf of Met Life for a policy that I had an unpaid balance on. Contrary to the posts here that say established companies have their own collections departments for that, most do not collect in-house for longer that 45-60 days. At that point they cut their losses and sell the debt to a third party like this one to collect the debt. There's nothing fake about collection agencies, and if you don't rectify the situation quickly it will damage your credit. In the case of insurance, it may even make your premiums more expensive
- Forgetful Frank replies to DanAnd debbie downer the Atty Gen is really going to step up to the plate on that one. Martha, Martha, Martha
- Forgetful Frank replies to BostonGood luck getting auto insurance in the future. That "under a hundred bucks" could come back to bite you in the [***]
- Forgetful Frank replies to Come on peopleYou're an idiot....you have to pay your premiums up to the day you terminate the policy. Some people on monthly billing without auto-pay seem to think they can just pull the plug. And you did sign a contract, what do you think an insurance policy is? Sure you can cancel any time, but you still pay for the time used.
- MaryThey have been calling the home and call no message left.
- hope ryeI keep getting phone calls from this number, I don't recognize it so I don't answer

- Jessica Batemanthis is a FAKE collection agency. they see what insurance thou have and try to collect funds saying you owe the company money. i said it didn't make sense and called my insurance company. they said i didn't owe anything.
- Caller: stating for the general
- ds replies to JKL123All state huh. Interesting, I have never had them for insuranse. Wonder why they would call me? In house, or outhouse they should not be calling me, but they did. Wouldn't tell me who they are. It's a scam. Sounds like you are a part of the problem.
- kcw`I know for a fact that it is not fake.. I owe Travelers insurance for a past due bill that I have not been able to pay yet.
- Caller: Debt collection agency
- Call type: Debt collector
- Trent replies to Former Geico EmployeeOk this an old post but, it seems we are misunderstanding how collections work. I could be wrong, but if Geico has charged off the debt, this means that Geico can not collect on the debt, nor can they accept payment, because the tax write-off has technically paid them back as a company loss. The debt then gets sold to a debt buyer for fractions, and tries to collect. Any money that the buyer collects is their money not the original creditors. I am in the process of getting all old debt removed from my credit report. So far I have 15 out of 22 derogatory accounts removed, and 2 of the accounts happens to be this CCS company you guys are speaking of. They are on my report as the new debt holder of my old (The General) insurance account which is legit but very old.
- Nancy WagnerMultiple calls. Never leave a message.

- DeeInsurance is paid either all up front or in advance for the coming month, but not for the prior month. If you don't pay it they cancel it. How can anyone "OWE" or be sent to collections? That sounds really fishy. I'm getting calls from them but they aren't leaving any type of message and keep hanging up on me. How do they expect to collect anything that way? So they may be a FAKE agency, or they may be a REAL agency, but for sure they SUCK at collecting.
